Is it only wacky Americans that can't see the comedy of this fella being in the race to be a president?

Quite sure Barack has changed the entire US on its head since being Gov.

Yes. I know a lot of people following him for the entertainment value, but have only encountered very few supporters. He says a lot of what racist, xenophobic hillbillies want to hear and gets them all riled up. They will get in their homes and drive to the polls in droves.

Honestly, I don't think Obama has been able to achieve what he set out to change in his first campaign. He seems worn and beaten because of our screwed up political process.

Wish I could say this.

I worry about turn out too as in too many who would vote for Trump's opponent not getting out to vote due to thinking "there's no way he will win."

Valid but I still don't think people will support him in an actual poll. At least I hope not. This is for the Democrats to lose at this point. I'm not a big fan of Hillary but I'll take her over any Republican candidate.

if he ever did get in, be interesting to see if he followed through with any of his crazy policies...i get the feeling he likes the attention and the power but doesnt actually ideologically believe in anything

I think if he wins or loses the republican election, the Dems will win. He personally said he'd run as an independent if he doesn't win the nomination and that would split the republican vote a little, sort of like Ross Perot in 1990 i guess?
