I suspect players have been signed by clubs based on someone watching a game for 90 minutes.

But, I've watched games where I've thought 'he looks a talent' I'll see how he progresses and kept an eye on players.

I’m not doubting he’s got some quality, he must have, but I think we can all agree our midfield lacks speed and power. Gomes has quality but he can’t start because of the lack of the above. The only player with it, Doucoure, is out for over a month. Whoever is assessing what our squad is missing isn’t doing it at all.
