I know nothing about his injury but if fit he has to start ahead of Delph at Leicester who was the main reason why Chelsea
ran midfield. Loftus-Cheek ran past Delph every time but did not nail the final ball.
Donny is more mobile and can match the Leicester playmakers while Delph cannot.

Turned out to be a bit of a rubbish deal didn’t it? Totally get the deal at the time, plenty of risk in it because something was off at United but I don’t really blame anyone for how it’s gone

Heard noises he's no longer aloud to play for us as a new manager wants him strong and fresh for the new season.
So the new boss, who's not there yet, has retrospectively changed the terms of the deal and is paying his wages now then?

Contracts only work for the wealthy party.

Just a thought, his missus had a baby a couple of weeks ago, has he maybe taken paternity leave? Pretty sure at the last press conference Lampard just said he was "unavailable". Most players probably wouldn't take their full allowance at the business end of the season but if it's not his club and he's not that bothered...

Wouldn't shock me if there is some kind of agreement where we appease Man United by carrying out that request and they reciprocate in some manner

Man Utd would surely want the lad playing. He’s only played about 2 full Prem games in his whole time in England.

I'd certainly like to hear from the medical department though on their thoughts and reasons why we've looked unfit, injured, players opting out with slight knocks, long term injuries, ops needed, no ops needed.
Because we aren't playing well. Players seem to be able to get through these little knocks when you're doing well. When you're rubbish, they dont want to be associated with it
