He sounds like he would be ideal. Somebody like him tho yes, pacey, strong with an eye for goal.

Although, ive said it before and I will say it again, I can see this Naughton lad played at RM. He has the talent for it.

Looks like it's gonna be extremely difficult to get Defour away from Standard. There's an article on Belgian teletext now, with a quote from technical director D'Onofrio, saying: "We'll do everything possible to keep hold of him. It's not that we don't need the money, but we simply can't afford to lose him. Steven can continue to develop with us, and he knows that. We'll asses the situation in 6-12 months time."

So looks like our chances of signing him this summer are very slim and I'm afraid, that if he has a good CL run, he'll be out of our reach by January.

Unless he decides he wants to go, puts in a transfer request, we up our offer a bit.

They are saying so much about not wanting to lose him, a bit of reverse psychology I think, they need the money but don't want to be seen as letting him go for the sake of it.
