Duncan Ferguson the coach

It seems that Duncan has kept a role in the dugout. I love him of course for his love of Everton but is this the right move. Has he been protected by Kenwright?
Probably but maybe he will learn under the new team. Martinez and Koeman haven't exactly been great mentors.

No idea what he actually does and although the players and other staff seem to enjoy having him around it stinks of Jobs for the boys to me.

fought for the club through pain, turned up against the big teams, didn't flap derbies, has gathered a reputation as a progressive coach

but nah some overweight lids on the internet who haven't an earthly clue if he's a good coach or positive influence or not, want him out, okay then lads
Didn’t Lukaku say he was a good striker coach?

I thought one of the positives from employing Massive Head was that he'd bring his team here and dispense with the shower who've let the club down?

If he's keeping that phony we dont even get that.

Where have you heard this?

Has he - by admission of or via your own opinion - actually improved ANY player coached under him?

Do you see ANY player play with any of the traits/tenacity he had (sometimes) as a player?

I don't.

IMO he gets by because he's mini-£££££ merch-wise & has reputation.

Have him in a community or coaching role, sound....

As for the rest. Well, the proof's visible really...

I believe his whistling skills are, however, exemplary.

A little harsh mate. I'm not going to say Dunc is a problem or scapegoat him because I have no idea. The original poster wasn't in any way implying that Dunc was the problem- it was more of him questioning if Kenwright has protected him when the clear-outs were/are made. I'd think that most managers like to bring in their own staff in the face of a change, and I doubt most of them would have chosen Duncan had they a choice.

In fairness mate, no player could play the way he used to now days, as they`d be getting a red first time the ball went into the box in the air.

People on here need to give there heads a shake he is a club legend and even lukaku said he helped him with his game but oh no let's get Sammy wee in the kopite dwarf
