If we appointed Dunc as manager, would it be a backwards step?
Yes.
I absolutely love the call he made today with kean. Big call to take off a player he threw on. And he made it. Shows hes got the balls to make calls like that. And for all the stick he's getting for the way he reacted to kean. To me it was a cold hard stare at a player who wasnt cutting it. Obviously now he has the decision post match to have a word with the player. Wether he puts an arm round him or just says look you need to up your game a bit. If i throw you on show me why i was wrong not to start you.
Two games in obviously but he got a tune out of them against chelsea and he made a huge CORRECT call today with kean.
All good.

Weird he was interviewed on the pitch though wasn't it ?I think the only mistake Ferguson made was his reply to why he subbed Kean.

Never happens that.

Yes.
I think the way Dunc sets up isn't sustainable for a full season.

Why?What do you say in that situation though? Its a situation of Dunc’s creation, granted, but he’s kind’ve damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t.
I mean he was clearly lying - I think it will have killed Dunc NOT to say “I hauled him off because he’s a disgrace and this team expects better than that”.
But then, the club will have probably given him clear instructions just to maintain the status quo till Eddie arrives.
Jeff Shreeves was straight onto the pitch to interview Dunc as he was on way to clap the fans.I never saw the interview mate, just going by what lads said on here.
Thing is I'd rather have that than the half arsed bunch of cowards that Silva et al have thrown out every week for the last 5 seasons. Give me fight, passion and organisation over the tippy tappy pointless passing and defensive ineptitude we've suffered for far too long. For me I don’t want to go back to the ‘dogs of war’ tag, something I think would happen under Dunc.
