If we appointed Dunc as manager, would it be a backwards step?

Off the strength of 2 games it would be a bit mental.... All new managers tend to get a short term reaction from players....what Dunc has done is given the board time to find the right candidate.... No real reason right now to not let Dunc see out the Christmas games... If that goes well, then give him the job for the rest of the season...

I don't see Ancelotti wanting our job, and none of the other names linked excite me at all.... So hopefully we get lucky with Dunc

I'm more than happy with 'a bit mental' for a few weeks.

It’ll be interesting to see if he’d have the know-how of how to break a team down at Goodison, so far it’s been the other teams trying to break us down.

Thing is I'd rather have that than the half arsed bunch of cowards that Silva et al have thrown out every week for the last 5 seasons. Give me fight, passion and organisation over the tippy tappy pointless passing and defensive ineptitude we've suffered for far too long.

Don’t get me wrong mate, I love the passion he’s shown, especially last week when that passion was picked up by the crowd and they reacted. Also agree that in his 2 games in charge we’ve looked organised, hard working etc, and as much as I love him I just don’t think he’s the way to go.

If Leicester city can win the premiership then big dunc has half a chance of being successful. The truth is any managerial appointment is a risk, no one at all is a dead cert to bring success, half the game is luck anyway.

Even a decent manager with pedigree walking into this mess his job for these two games would be keep the score respectable. This has been a miracle what Ferguson has achieved considering he is a glorified cone layer.

Hard to tell atm. The organisation and graft alone are a positive to take forward. We've seriously lacked both for far too long.
