Just come home from seeing it at the movies in IMAX in Auckland. Absolutely brilliant film. Great also to see a WW2 film purely from the British narrative, no American Hollywood hyperbole in sight.

My fave thing about it is how people are quietly accepting that Harry Styles is good at acting.
He wasn't out of place at all, like the polar opposite to ed sheeran in that Game of thrones scene last week.
He's a lucky bugger working with Nolan, first acting gig and it's in a film which will be scooping up oscars !
Or it might inspire them to learn more about the subject, we underestimate our youth tremendously, all it takes is someone who genuinely wants to engageI looked at the title of this thread and thought "I don't really want to see posts about the war". Then I thought some of the xenophobic posts might be amusing. Then I see it is about a film, typical really. I can see in the coming years when youths are asked What they know about Dunkirk they will say the long haired one from some boy band was in it.
