Our fan base are turning feral since last season.

Bringing in Ancelotti and James was the worst thing we could have done the expectations are so unrealistic from many.

Im a moaner but im also a realist and appreciate the situation we are currently in until next summer when we get a raft of big earners off the books / the USM naming rights starts being in pay from this year.

He’s a good player and I’d be very happy if we got him. Deffo think signing James has raised expectations unduly. People also need to remember we had no bench for large parts of last season and the likes of Townsend and Gray help with depth. McNeil would be a guaranteed starter for me.

I would normally be against signing someone from Burnley because I don't think you can get a good feel for how they'll perform in a system that requires actually footballing but now it seems like we're actually just looking to play the same way so maybe he's worth signing.

He’s adding pace and work rate, something completely lacking from this squad and people are fuming about it.

All of the rumoured players have a point to prove as well. Give me a motivated player over a player who thinks he is doing us a favour by being here.
