He’s only 22, which makes it a better signing than most of the wingers we have bought in the last 5 years. If he can find the form he had from the season before last, then it could be a great buy.

Either we were never in for him and it was social media bs or someone else is looking to pay his release fee up front?Said that to my mate last night, it’s odd how Burnley wouldn’t entertain a structured deal for Cornet but were happy to do so for McNeil
I've got a feeling that this season may repeat his last season then, if our strike force stays the same.Watching some of his highlights. Seems like he's got a very good cross on him. I can see why his assist stats are deceptive. The amount of times he put it on a plate for someone only to have them screw it wide or balloon it over the bar was unbelievable. I'd hope that with Dom on the receiving end he'd rack up a good amount of assists this season.
absolutely, we're rubbish but not to the standard of Burnley rubbish. 38 games not scoring a goal and 1 assist, Rondon did better than that in 20 games and his 32 .............I rest my case your honour ?What standard are we talking about here?
Not good enough for a team that escaped relegation in week 39 of the previous season?
Wake up please...
Will start ahead of Gray, pushing Gray to the bench as an impact sub.
Gives us options as he's a completely different kind of player to Gray.
Right kind of attitude, work ethic, good on the ball, good deliver of the ball, doesn't look to constantly shirk having the ball.
Overall s good signing that improves the team.
Now go sort that centre mid out please Thelwell
He's marginally above average hence why we have the opportunity to sign him...totally agree if was any good bigger clubs would be circling
he Couldn’t help to keep Burnley up so why will he keep us up
Will never score 10+ goals but providing DCL can stay fit he'll get us assists so its a yes at £15 millions.
I refer you to four weeks before the end of last season where bookmakers were quoting Burnley at 5/1 to be relegated and us at 9/10...absolutely, we're rubbish but not to the standard of Burnley rubbish. 38 games not scoring a goal and 1 assist, Rondon did better than that in 20 games and his 32 .............I rest my case your honour ?
I guess the value cornet higher?!Said that to my mate last night, it’s odd how Burnley wouldn’t entertain a structured deal for Cornet but were happy to do so for McNeil
Huge risk though isn't it, banking on DCL to stay fit for the whole season. At some point he's going to need a break even if he stays fit and next in line is Rondon and he simply isn't up to standard.
We have to get some kind of quality forward in and sharpish and a DM.
Correct; but then it is Burnley and we don't know what their finances look like?I guess the value cornet higher?!
