@chicoazul absolute destructionNo input other than silly jibes - get lost will you .... @Eggs puts a good post in & its farming to you ? go & get your P T O changed ....
He used his pet names ‘Keano’ and ‘Youngy’ in the post match interview too. Only an idiot publicly endorses favourites in such a loudhailer fashion. Get him out.100% that's what it is.
Dyche mentions it on numerous occasions about not making changes unless it's necessary. Burnley fans came on here and said he'll pretty much pick the same 11 when given the chance and he's been proving right.
Put it this way.
DCL is given 17 games to score a goal -
Beto is given 1
Lindstrom stunk the gaff out 1st half against Palace and is dropped -
Harrison is given game after game
Mcneil given game after game when in poor form
Doucoure given game after game in poor form
There's 14 players he loves which are
Pickford
Young
Coleman
Keane
Tarkowski
Branthwaite
Mykolenko
Gana
Garner
Doucoure
Mcneil
Harrison
Ndiaye
DCL
He'll do his utmost to ensure they're in the 11, playing the same rigid system of hoping to get the ball forward for a set piece
We have the oldest team in the Prem ATM ....It seems like Thelwell is recruiting players for either the future or for a different style of play under a new manager.
His quotes don't suggest anything at all.I’m on record as supporting Dyche but it’s been largely dire this season. I hoped he’d make us better but it’s not looking that way, I can’t defend or make excuses for performances like today. I think his anchievement last season was terrific but I fully understand posters who want him out and have no issues if that happens.
I’m on record as not being a fan of Thelwell but know lots think he’s doing a good job. I don’t. It doesn’t mean I have an agenda, I’d like him to be good. I don’t get he can only sign players on ‘pay nothing up front, pay later deals’, it’s no excuse to sign poor footballers. I don’t get he has little money to spend, DoFs are paid lots of money to find players within the budget they have.
I think it’s important the Manager and DoF are on the same page but I thought there were a few telling quotes tonight from Dyche suggesting they’re not.
He said; “I like Fulham, they have recruited really well”, suggesting we haven’t. Asked why he doesn’t play 4-4-2 as he often did at Burnley, he said “I don’t have the personnel to do it here’.
So, maybe there’s an issue here. Maybe it’s not Dyche and Thelwell, maybe it’s more Dyche v Thelwell. Interesting what the new owner does as these are the key appointments in any club.
Thelwell is recruiting players for the modern game, Dyche is trying to make them play football from 10 years ago.It seems like Thelwell is recruiting players for either the future or for a different style of play under a new manager.
Id be interested to know which players he was pushing for given the clubs perilous financial state recently. The likes of Phillips and McTomminay never seemed realistic imo. It’s clear as day Dyche is ignoring O’Brien and is only grudgingly using Lyndstrom and Mangala. A canyon between him and Thelwell.
Beto was a throw of the dice, we needed a body up front, it was 20m max… we threw a 3.I’d rather we moved on from both and the new owners bring better people in. Perhaps the recruitment set up as a whole needs a change .
Money has been tight and we signed a centre back for close to £20m who can’t get a game. Beto was a highly questionable signing as well.
It’s going to be a massive task to fix all the crap that’s happened here.
This is also farming Joseph you cognitively declining combine harvester. Here have theseNo input other than silly jibes - get lost will you .... @Eggs puts a good post in & its farming to you ? go & get your P T O changed ....
I think so mate.
If anyone was there at the match tonight I think they'll have got a very good sense of the fanbases frustration with the lacking of tactical quality and shape of the team.
Farmers alliance pal. Already locusted their crops.@chicoazul absolute destruction
Fair question. Philips, for one, is a major bullet dodged and reminds me of the other ruinously expensive peanut head midfielder we signed from city. And who was brutal.Id be interested to know which players he was pushing for given the clubs perilous financial state recently. The likes of Phillips and McTomminay never seemed realistic imo.
