Dyche out Moyes in.

You know him and your club better then I... but I would say (it was few years ago now mind), Moyes was absolutely atrocious for us in a relegation scrap. Couldn't motivate the squad or fans at all. We ended up going down without a fight, despite it being a squad that had stayed up fairly handedly under Big Sam the year before.

I appreciate he has since had a good spell at West Ham. But I wouldn't trust Moyes to motivate anyone when the chips are down and you need to fight for every last point.
Sunderland fans need to let it go. If Moyes was the problem they wouldn’t have suffered consecutive relegations and gone through a series of owners.

Funny we had far more inexperienced managers keep us up before moyes
Yeah. You stayed up the season before when a man of glass managed to string a rare run of games where he wasn’t completely broken together. That and relying on a fat winger for inspiration and Kone, the money-grabbing defender who had a run of form while getting told what to do by Kaboul. It was unsustainable.

Face it, the club pissed money away for years on donkeys and ended up paying the price. As soon as Short’s missus told him to pull the plug the club was doomed.

Look I don't want to hijack the thread. But we hadn't been relegated the season before with essentially the same squad, bar a few additions that Moyes wanted (basically all old ex-Everton players tbf).

After the relegation to the championship, our owner at the time washed his hands of us (he spent money while moyes was here) hence the fall down the league.

But crucially, my point was that Moyes offered absolutely nowt while we circled the drain that srason. He basically said in the press a few weeks into the season we were favourites for relegation and just proceeded to moap about the place all season.

You're not going to be spending big money from what I can see? So if you're looking for a manager who is going to bring togetherness and fight in a relegation scrap, and get the players and fans together as one, based on his time here he is absolutely not the man.

Moyes takes us down if Dyche does. Same rubbish squad. Same insipid brand of boring football. I can already imagine the back peddling from the Moyes acolytes when he's the gaffer that sees us drop down to the Championship.
