No, we had Moyes in his prime for 11 years, we’ll never move forward if we keep going back. Look at Howard as prime example, went from overseeing our greatest period to starting our slow descent to nearly relegating us in the span of 3 spells

Not saying I want him back. Certainly NOT! We have had so many crap managers over the years since Moyes (exception perhaps Carlo, for a fleeting moment while he awaited his appointment to the Spanish elite).
Yes, Moyes had many capitulations on his watch, I do remember them sadly, but this collapse set a new record for the premiere league that Moyes, and none after him, had achieved until Dyche.

How many more such records do we need to break before things go right finally?
Just not the one for hiring Dour Davey back
 


This entire thread is completely crackers. The only way it could be more mad would be to have Brian Blessed read out all the posts in his loudest shouty crackers voice.
