Dyche out Moyes in.

aka, a young 'unknown' from a lower / different league - much like Brighton
I think this is why Corberan's name keeps coming up. Kev apparently wanted him pre Dyche and another poster put something up the other day which suggested Kev is still interested. When Corberan went in at Huddersfield they only had single figure numbers of players and he rebuilt the squad with frees and loans and got them into the playoffs. Then has gone to West Brom and done very similar with them, little money and got them up the table last season and into the playoffs. His style is quite direct like Dyche but its much more ground based and far less air based. Last season they scored 70 goals and conceded 47 goals (3rd best defence in the league) He is very tactically adaptable and is also a hard taskmaster, I can see the attraction tbh.

13 And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

14 Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:

15 No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.

16 I will therefore chastise him, and release him.

17 (For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.)

18 And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man and release unto us Barabas.

It would actually be nice and refreshing if we just went somewhere progressive, modern and new with the appointment of our next manager

Like we did with Martinez Silva Lampard?

They just need to be good, any other characteristic is meaningless, there has to be an underlying reason why all 7 managers under Moshiri have continued to fail in all the same ways

The bottom line is we can't afford to get anyone different in other than a relegation avoidance specialis. At least with Moyes, we'd have someone who can stabilise us and perhaps, with luck, get some domestic success seeing how he's more experienced now. We can't afford yo go for a pioneering manager at this stage or someone like Potter as he's more free flowing - we don't have those players. The risk is too great.
We have a stabilizing manager in at present that's losing the fan base at a rate of knots each week even the die hard supporters are losing faith , i see your point about free flowing football with the squad we have but you never know some might be able to adapt if the shackles come off we saw Saturday at times we can play free flowing football when it on the floor and not hit 60yards to know one

What the hell do you think Moyes can do with this squad that Dyche can’t. Seriously asking here.

If the answer is anything to do with bringing in new players, or expecting them suddenly make huge leaps forward in terms of quality or ability, you might as well not bother answering.

Implement a style of play and attacking patterns. A squad ethos and actual standards.

Yes under moyes you could throw the knife to a gun fight lines but in actual context of the stament he was right. The top teams had players worth more then our entier squad during his time here. So thats what it was like.

Theres some weird rhetoric that moyes was this ultimate defensive manager. Obviously he could he pragmatic during matches against big teams but against everyone else we mostly had a good go at them.

Talking about the manager that invented/popularised attacking fullbacks in the PL and people think he used to play the dross we see now.
