He said there’s issues every week in press conferences mate. What he didn’t say while manager is “they don’t want a legend Sharpy there, they don’t want the chief exec there so their not allowed to come the games because their getting all kinds of threats”

I think that recent quote from him is pretty indefensible.

Not for the purest blooded Dychette. The man is beyond reproach according to them. We were lucky that he deigned to allow us to pay him multiple millions of pounds for the turgid gunge he used to serve up.

He's doing well is big Jake out on the right mate, i still think he needs a bit more work to be starting PL center back myself.

He will get there, coming along nicely.

Quite happy him staying at Right back. Defends well. Joins in with the attack well. Good technique. Probably doesnt score the goals he has if he's at centre back as he prob isnt that far forward.
Dyche had him right under his nose. And never started him once in the PL.

Personally I’m thankful to him for one thing, that he quit, because every second he was our manager made me sick. He sabotaged the last season at Goodison and made me not even want to go back one last time. I’ve probably missed my chance to do so but I’d rather that than have my lasting memory of the place be us cowering on the edge of our box at home to Fulham while he stands there rubbing snot into his stupid disc beard.

He’s a stain on the football club’s history for me. I fully blame the people who ran the club into the ground for the fact we had to stoop to such depths to appoint him.

Hes doing well, but i think we need a right full mate, im not even sure Jake is playing a traditional right full role now if im being honest, its more of a hybrid right center back with the winger supporting him.

Great thing about Jake is he is very intelligent footballer - we don't have very many of them - hes also has great technical skills and his presence in immense. To be honest his defending in the center needs work, i don think hes reliable enough yet to be starting at center half but full sure it will come, because that can be coached and hes under the right man.
