ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

So flawed that we're all hoping Liverpool get them in the draw.
The last 8 in the CL are not going to be mugs, rs included, but Barca and City are really the Elite. Barca have plenty of pedigree, and City are potentially on the cusp of creating another European superpower. Plus United and Juventus are powerhouses that won't be pushovers.

They beat a bad Bayern team away from home. I ain't knocking that, a lot of teams would struggle to get past the post and they are now in the QFs. I just don't see it being as 'easy' a route as last season, and I hope they struggle and bust out in the CL and the PL because of it.

Liveerpool wont want United.

United will beat them. They almost did with half a team missing.

According to many on here they had the league won in January. 'They' know who they are.
In a similar way this time last year the Champions League was also in the bag.

I guess that this is the point that Kurt is making.
We don't want them even getting that far. It's bad enough them being more than in the mix with 8 games to go. They've lost one league game all season. It hardly shows that they're about to go on a losing run and leave City to win by 15 points. It's 100% going to the final game or two, where anything can happen ("Agueroooooo").

CL: They'll steamroll Ajax or Porto, so no need to even discuss that. United or Spurs, over two legs, you'd fancy them. Barca, City, Juve are the three I would expect to beat them, but like last season, they tend to get the dodgy decisions and if they put one of the real top teams out it could all fall into place for them.

With City's squad, I expect City to win the league. But it wouldn't surprise me if Liverpool took it.

Ahh the fabled "they're deffo not gonna win anything, honest" approach. I like it.

yeah i like it too, i said it constantly last season when everyone was wetting themselves about the CL, i said it the year before that, the year before that and, well, you get the gist of my stance.

Everyone else was worried they'd win the league this year, the CL last year, the europa a few years back, the league a few years back under rodgers. I kept saying they wouldn't win anything, i believe kurt was saying the same ... and we've been right every single time.

So think you need to stop labelling us as blue tinted idiots who don't know what they're talking about.

If they get closes enough on a regular basis, they're going to nab it sooner or later.

Of course I 100% hope you are proven right, though.
