Agreed,I really had hoped that Real would be in for him, I can only see him going there or Bayern.

It wouldn't be so bad if we were good.

He would’ve definitely gone Bayern a couple of years ago but they decided to faff about with short term has-beens like Ancelotti and a 70 year old Heynckes, and then an utter no mark in Niko Kovac to the point where they’re now a basket case that Klopp wouldn’t touch.

I think they key to them dropping back down a couple of notches where we can stop worrying, will be bigger teams coming in for key players if they win nada. The manager can stay but lose a couple of those players and there's no guarantee they recruit to the same level.

Cmon Madrid....go crazy with the chequebook

I actually disagree mate, I’d rather they lost him than any one player in their team. Whichever top player leaves is going to net them about £200m on their own, and you know he’ll spend it right.

We don't want them even getting that far. It's bad enough them being more than in the mix with 8 games to go. They've lost one league game all season. It hardly shows that they're about to go on a losing run and leave City to win by 15 points. It's 100% going to the final game or two, where anything can happen ("Agueroooooo").

CL: They'll steamroll Ajax or Porto, so no need to even discuss that. United or Spurs, over two legs, you'd fancy them. Barca, City, Juve are the three I would expect to beat them, but like last season, they tend to get the dodgy decisions and if they put one of the real top teams out it could all fall into place for them.

With City's squad, I expect City to win the league. But it wouldn't surprise me if Liverpool took it.
You are absolutely correct to say that they could win but we just need to wait and see. Why worry about something that might never happen?

They are, but Bayern will rattle a couple in against them. Bayern are the Euro royalty that shower claim to be. The real deal.

This tie is over. Mark my words.
For Bayern, read Man U, Juventus, Barca, etc., or last season, City, Roma, RM. A stopped clock and all that...

If he gets the can then I guess they would be back for him but would he go this time?? I am not convinced either

yeah i like it too, i said it constantly last season when everyone was wetting themselves about the CL, i said it the year before that, the year before that and, well, you get the gist of my stance.

Everyone else was worried they'd win the league this year, the CL last year, the europa a few years back, the league a few years back under rodgers. I kept saying they wouldn't win anything, i believe kurt was saying the same ... and we've been right every single time.

So think you need to stop labelling us as blue tinted idiots who don't know what they're talking about.
Not everyone.

Any top manager wouldn't want the Bayern job next. Not because they aren't a big club but their squad needs a lot of work.

Would you want to be the man who needs to jettison club legends like Robben, Ribery, Boateng, Hummels, Neuer, Muller etc.. over the next few years whist building a new squad and still winning?

Kovac to me looks like someone brought in to handle that process. He's going to be the fall guy. Maybe even the next manager too.
