ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Man City winning all their remaining league games would be a freak turn of events? Rubbish.
Beating Spurs at home who have just beat them, and Manchester United away, plus expecting Liverpool to not win all their games. I put that in the very unlikely category.

I desperately hope I am wrong.

Spurs have lost at Stamford Bridge, the Emirates, and Anfield this season and lost to City at Wembley. It’s not beyond the realms of possibility for City to beat Spurs at home.

It's more City away at Old Trafford that concerns me, to be honest. Even a draw won't be enough. That's the end of their title challenge there.

United havent been great at home. Lost to PSG, Barca and even West Ham ran through them. Liverpool dominated against them but just couldn’t finish. If City play well they win that game as they have done in recent seasons. Especially if United are out of the CL and maybe out of the top 4 hunt. Some of their players already look like they’ve given up on the whole impressing Solskjaer bit.

I'm not buying all this 'gotta go to Old Trafford' ...

They'd rather City take the league again now than watch Liverpool lift it and potentially dominate for a few seasons.

I think Liverpool winning the league is more damaging in the long term for United than missing out on champions League.

Newcastle are up there with Norwich as their chief bunnies.

It’s infuriating that Norwich keep bouncing up every other season. Yellow is the perfect colour for them whenever they play Liverpool. Hopefully Vill come back too, they had a great record against the RS at one point.

I hope Ole briefs the players on what the required outcome of that fixture is. Two zero to City, but keep the fans on side (they should be happy regardless) by ensuring it's a tight game that is flipped on its head by two late penalty decisions after 'clumsy' fouls by Luke Shaw.
