ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

They are not winning it. It's not happening. City will win all of their games and that will be that. Why are people worrying?

There’s a scenario where City could win their next four then Liverpool would be going up to Newcastle 4 points behind knowing they had to break down Rafael’s parked bus just to go back to being 1 behind and take it to the final day. How sweet would it be if after all their floating when Newcastle beat City if Rafael ended their title challenge.

I completely expect City to snot a Kane-less Tottenham in both home fixtures, league and Champions League. Spurs have only won once at the Etihad since 2010 and the have been on a poor run of form recently away from home.

The Manchester Derby is concerning but City have a tremendous record in that fixture, especially at Old Trafford.

Unfortunately, I don't think Liverpool will drop another point, so City have to go perfect now - which they are extremely capable of.

Because Liverpool have only lost one game. City have lost, what, three? And because they lost to Spurs the other day. And OK, no Kane = good, but they have Son and Moura as well. Son's probably their biggest threat next to Kane.
Embarrassing reading some of the bedwetting posts in here.... totally embarrassing.
Just call me Negative Nancy.

The gap between Liverpool and the toffees is now 39points. Good thing Liverpool are lucky else no one can justify such a big gap after spending more net spend money than Liverpool.
You could guarantee survival for the relegation threatened teams with such a gap.

Hi mate, it’s probably helped that you had one of the best managers in the world spending that money and we had a fat ginger oversized baby and his PE teacher gargoyle mate spending it, thanks for reading.

No they are not.
Well I think they are. Kane is a greedy t#@$ and he proved that in the world Cup semi when a square ball to Sterling would have more than likely put England in the final. But instead he went for personal glory. I think Spurs are a far better "TEAM" without him.

It'll take a freak turn of events for them not to win it now. On paper, they should absolutely demolish the four teams they have left to play. Hoping they can pick up some injuries in Champions League, but they've been extremely fortunate with injuries yet again, so don't expect that. I expect City to beat, Spurs, draw with United, and win the other three games they have. Can Cardiff, really at the last chance saloon, prevent them from winning? It's really time to accept the fact they're winning it.

The advantage of Kane being out may come from the fact that Spurs essentially have 3 forward players Son, Llorente, and Moura, with Kane and Alli being injured. They’ll be going all out in mid week to win that CL tie and Pochettino has no good options on the bench to rotate them. They’ll then have to do this all again at the weekend whilst Guardiola can call on any combo of Aguero Jesus Sané Sterling Bernardo Silva or Mahrez.

Spurs are the big danger in the run in for City and if the league game was at White Hart Lane then alarm bells would be ringing but having it at the Etihad with Kane and Alli both potentially out is probably as beneficial as it gets if you had to play them at any point.

I would like Spurs to get a result midweek because it gives City two games less to worry about. Liverpool aren't beating Barca and Juventus anyway so don't worry about CL. City then can concentrate on the title and beat Spurs Saturday and united wednesday
United have been poor since they gave Ole a contract. Its a tough one for them as no one at United wants Liverpool to win, but they also need points for their own CL quest. The whole thing is giving me anxiety and I don't like it

I also think that if they don't win it this year, literally they never ever will because they could potentially lose a couple of players and City will strengthen in the summer, plus mentally its hard to come back and start again next season

City still favourites, it gets complicated now as spurs and united need the points to get 4th place, meaning they both need to go for the win.

Having come this far guardiola has to win the quadruple, he just has to. He prides himself on doing these one offs.

Man City winning all their remaining league games would be a freak turn of events? Rubbish.
