They literally did it last year.

The other thing is that I feel Spurs would go into that game with a pragmatism that Ajax wouldn't. Spurs will know they have to ride out the first half an hour or so and start picking them off, Ajax might be a little naive in that regard
Their manager has his head screwed on though.

Three weeks from now, whoever Liverpool face, will seem like an age has elapsed between then and the end of the season on Sunday.

Dont underestimate how much of an effect that'll have on the players.

I think whoever faces them Liverpool have a job on.

I'm really 100% still mindful of the City v Brighton game, tbh. I'll be delighted to get that sorted. That is THE one.

For the sake of football I hope it’s Spurs

Ajax and RS fans will not be a good mix.

I also think Ajax might be naive and flattened within half an hour.
Thought I read somewhere Kane would be back if they made the final.

Have to reluctantly give them credit for last night, only caught the last 10 minutes fortunately. Praying Ajax or Spurs do them in final.

Three weeks resting up for Spurs and getting Kane back (three weeks to let Liverpool lose momentum also). I'd like to see what Son, Kane and Alli could do in a one off game at a neutral venue. They've handed some great teams a good slapping in recent years.

Ajax, on the other hand, really have a free shot at the cup if they go to the final...and they look like they have ice in their veins and are ready to become one of THOSE Ajax great teams.

Oh lord I hope you're right. I'll be praying to those Holy saints Alan Ball and Howard Kendall for a bit of Divine Retribution. Other than that it's a case of #InDavewetrust

As for Brighton, I hope Shane Duffy remembers his Evertonian roots when it's most needed.

Argghhhhh....... Talkcrapsport have played "that" dirge after every commercial break including that bellend Carragher singing a full verse of it. Plassie idiots (not fans) of other teams phoning in loving them, probably Kopites like HongKongToffee pretending to be anything but Reds.
It cuts to the Moose in Amsterdam with Spurs fans asking them about the shoite and if they want to send congratulations, more about them than thier own team that are playing tonight...

Even the likes of Bob Mills whose usually sane has started waxing long "Carla Lane" style pseudo-nonsense monologues about them, this is gonna be long, long, long three and a half weeks ahead :mad::mad::mad::rant::rant:

I for one do not care. I’m £150 better off and a minimum of £300 come sunday

They win the league and I’ll be up a grand and it’s all getting launched on them winning the CL

They lose it’ll be the best money I’ve ever spent, they win and I’ll be balls deep in minge
