Yeah mate I know exactly where you're coming from. It's just that I've been battered into submission for more years than I care to remember. But it will never stop me supporting our beloved blues 100% and I'll never give up hope. Hope is a good thing. COYB.
As ever in circumstances such as today's I look around for someone to blame for us not having been able to be credible participants in the hunt for trophies and by virtue of that, not dining at the top table with the big boys.
It's not easy to say exactly at what point Kenwright and company failed.
But what is certainly the case is that it's not the fans fault. That's the one constant here, the unconditional support from the supporters through the very lean years of the recent past.
And it's that statement of mine that begs the question, would the world's greatest supporters still be as visible and vocal if they had to put up what we've had to do for a generation or so.

There is no other football club in the world, that I support. I'm an Evertonian born and bred, simple as. Yes it was good when the Mancs where winding them up but that was all. I can't be doin with all these whoppers who jump on other teams bandwagons. They're just what me arl fella used to call them when I was young. Glory hunters! They just wanna be associated with the success of the time, they've got no true identity in a football sense. Neighbours wives who are not even into football revelling in the RS,s results and raming it down your throat because you say your not bothered. I don't support them, I support Everton. Having said all that, if there is one club in the world I have a very soft spot for, it's Ajax. I think it stems from Cryuff and the others when I was growing up. Will it bother me if they go out to Spurs. Not a lot. But if they make it to the final, do I want them to win it. Yes because of who they're playing and I'd want any other team on the planet to win it because of who else is in it. Because of the neighbours wives of this world and the rest of the glory hunters is what I dislike so much about them.

You haven’t answered the question you’ve been avoiding though, about you being a fan or a supporter. A supporter goes the game. A fan just watches the game on TV. Do you actually go the game or are you just an armchair fan. Simple question. Again, People are entitled to follow whoever they want, but you don’t throw accusations concerning me. You’re the one that accused me of my allegiances, to read that accusation from someone that doesnt actually go and SUPPORT them with their hard earned wages is tough to take. I’ve given this club thousands of my hard earned money whilst you throw accusations around whilst you sit in front of a TV. I don’t leave any opinions on match threads as I go the match and then chew the fat with fellow Blues that go the match as I think their opinions are more valid. Yours? Not so.

Dude.

I went the match for years and some of the crap I heard spewed around the Street End made this forum look like the fount of all footballing knowledge.

King for a day Liverpool.

Sunday they'll be in tears. Then they have three weeks to wait to salvage their season with silver ware as City become the first treble winners.

6pm Sunday evening: trophyless and awaiting a 90 minute roll of the dice.

Who are you to decide what’s a supporter? What if someone has been going the game for years, and then decided to stop going? Does their opinion become worthless the moment they make that personal decision to stop going? I’m very interested to know this.

We don't agree often Davek, but yes, this is how I see it too.
Then it is just one game left, they either win or lose. They basically won it last night so it cannot get any worse but they still have a lot to lose.
