UEFA will be praying for a City / PSG / Juve / Barca final next season and if it doesn’t change quickly they’ll change the format to make sure they get it.

Neutrals aren’t interested in watching 2 nothing teams contest what’s supposed to UEFA’s flagship tournament.

Do you think Liverpool and Spurs won the lottery to reach finals? If PSG, Barca and City are real elite ones then they should have won the knockout stages. They aren’t entitled to play in finals. If that’s the case the elite clubs are permanent and no new force will ever get a chance. Everton won’t either. This what they want to do when they planned for alternate CL which included LFC btw. Your logic actually promotes that competition at the expense of your own club. It’s like your hate for LFC has increased to an extent you are ready hurt your own club for that.

Yeah. Cos its a cup competition. Wigan won the lottery to win the FA Cup. United won the lottery to win the CL in 1989.

No team wins their league by winning the lottery. They are the best team in their league. No question.

It is prestigious, no doubt, and lucrative, obvs. But only a fool would suggest that the winner of it is the BEST side in Europe. They were the best side in a one off match.

The discussion wasn’t about LFC at all it was about CL. But if course as always it turned out to be about LFC.

No one said LFC is best in the Europe. I always maintained that CL is still the biggest cup competition. But people can’t heck it here.
