And Stevie me laa would trade his winners medal for a league winners medal, thats a fact. If you ask any player, a domestic league win is the greater achievement. The CL is still a major trophy but not a big and prestigious as it was imo.

Buffon has stated many times that he would trade league titles for a CL medal because he never won it. Same with Slippy G but his rise as a player was in fact because of his CL heroics. IMO players would prefer winning CL over domestic League. Think about Ronaldo who didn’t seem to be bothered much about Madrid losing the league to Barca many times as he was anyway more interest in CL
