Shaqiri for 13m is good, good business. We would have been made up to pay that price when we were reportedly interested a year or two ago.

Could really see him tearing each and every one of his fragile ligaments after a few weeks of grueling Klopp training.

It might be good business in a narrow sense of small outlay foir a useful player. However, if your main business is to win a major trophy then Shaquiri is not the man you want. He's coming in to add what was missing after Coutinho left them and he cant fill those shoes.

I'm happy to see them shoot so low on that type of player. Yes he'll win them a few games by pulling a world class effort off every now and again, but the consistently inventive he cant do.

He'll ultimately end up at Newcastle or Fulham with a locker beside Barkley. Both Chelsea and the RS will make a small profit on both and thus the balance of the football universe is maintained.

Exactly this, in essence there free transfers. Same with ings they got him for 8m and will probably sell him for 12-15m.

Which is the reason we should of been in for Wilshire, was worth a gamble.
Lucas Moura another one, people forget he was on the same level as neymar a few years back.

They don't feck about in the transfer window anymore do they, on paper their first 11 next season is going to be ridiculous. Meanwhile we've not signed a single player. Gap between us and them is only going to get bigger and bigger over the next few years imo.

Their showing some serious ambition ... was hoping they were going to stick with Karius, why did he have to do that at tranmere !!
