Butland maybe, they went down after all. Pope, not a chance Burnley would sell.

Are either that good anyway? Butland is hugely overrated imo.

They’d get Pope all day for any decent fee, he’s bang average and Burnley already have a better keeper there in Heaton.

Just go for Pope please.

Spunking another £66 million on a goalie would push their spend close to £200 million this summer, but they don't try to buy the league do they? Also whatever happened to FFP ???

They haven't signed a player yet you'd go "wow" at.

Keita, Fekir and Shaquiri - if they turn out to be as good a trio of sgnings as Coutinho, Henderson and Lallana I'd be highly surprised...and only one of them is top quality.

The continuance of the three decade wait for the title is assured.

Personally I think it's their year. I'm off to make up some premier league t-shirts and see if there's a chance of finding an open top bus with Liverpool Champions on it.

A dodgy Brazilian keeper and a Swiss homunculus are the obviously missing pieces to replace the konkussion kid and Coutinho. We better leave the country because it's going to be unbearable.

These mongrels are gonna take some stopping next season, whilst they go from strength to strength we can’t even afford a loan signing without having to sell first. Dark times ahead.

Could be your year eh? lol lol lol

Fact is this time last year they had Can and Coutinho and replaced them with the average Keita and Fabinho. This is a double downgrade, no doubt about it.

Shaqiri is just clogging up space in their most congested area. And not very good.

Not seen much of Allison but what I've seen is far from impressive, not a single memorable save in the CL or World Cup.

Can was far from as good as you seem to reckon (and from what I can tell, he’s got better in your eyes since leaving, too) and to say Shakiri is in our most congested area suggests you’re talking rubbish. Beyond the 3 first choice front men, the cupboards are mostly bare.

Keita may not work out, but you and I have very little ability to say definitiveky one way or another.

I do tend to agree on Alisson though. I’ve not seen much of him, but what I have seen doesn’t scream world record fee, if I’m honest.

The reality as far as most reds seem to think is that we’re having a nice window, but that we’re still a long time at off city.
