Never really thought that goal keeper was that much of an issue for them last season (apart from that game). Their record against the top ten home and away wasn’t good enough and there were too many home draws. I don’t see how buying the worlds most expensive goalie helps you break down those teams who have learned how to nullify Klopp’s one way of playing.

Personally I believe anybody who wins something over a season deserves it...no matter which club. But with the money Klopp has spent since the beginning of his tenure ( don’t give me the net spend argument..he’s still spent 500 million ) the owners are going to want some success soon.

Klopps net spend before this transfer window was £0. Now he has spent 382m and he has sold 255m worth of players since he has been there.

So that's +127m for this season. However 75m last season cl money, 15m for that pre season tournament, and the likes of
ward (10m), Ings (15m est), origi or sturridge(10m est), Markovic (5m est) comes to 130m.

For the +127m outlay they will rake in 130m (approx) from the above.

The owners haven't put a penny in the club for transfers for 3 seasons.
