They’re doing ok. Played an awful West Ham team and unconvincing in the other two games. Looks a little like they’ve been found out to me. Need the same luck with injuries that they had last season to challenge for top 4.

Also long term not looking good, even if we ignore the sky high debt and FSG desperate scramble to sell this basket case to anyone they can find.

Their key players are all at their peak age. Mane, Salah and Firmino are all due to turn 27 by the end of the season. Pace players like that reach their peak earlier than most.

They need to win the league this year or at the very latest next year.

Looking like they can’t shift the deadwood, tens of millions in wages to pay and will lose them all on frees.

FSG’s incompetence is coming to the fore.

A new video where their classy fans will equate them to folk who rape their families on a protracted basis cannot be far away.

Worrying.

I can’t help thinking if it was us they’d have organised some sort of petition.

Properly outrageous and not a single fan of theirs gives an eff.

It seems outrageous until you realise 90% of their fanbase hate scousers. Then it's very easy to understand how they don't care if they bring misery and suffering to the people of Liverpool. They are squatters in our city.
 
Don't fall for it lads. Every August they look like world beaters, and even some of our own fans will say "they look class, this year seems different." But it's not. It's easy to forget how long the season is. They're still not good enough, like always. Even if they were good enough they'd find a way to screw it up. They will fall off the pace by winter. This graph is probably one of the most reliable charts you'll find on any topic - it's actually amazing how accurate it tends to be.

I always find kopites who hate Scousers weird. Like...your club is based in Liverpool...which is full of Scousers...and your best player of all time is from Whiston. Go support Chelsea or something.

They battered Liverpool last season at Anfield. Salah’s goals covered up a completely one sided affair that Spurs would have walked if Kane had scored his first penalty.

United are a good team though, of the top teams only City have been able to do anything at sold Trafford recently. Liverpool haven’t had a sniff there. 3-0 is a great result. Spurs have better players in nearly every position than Liverpool and a better manager. It is media invention that Liverpool are City’s only challengers. Their deluded fan base lap it up though and start singing songs about being top after 3 games, we know where this leads.
