It does sound like he’s rapidly disappearing up his own hoop doesn’t it?

The smiling, ‘nice guy’ of last season appears to be morphing into a self entitled £180k a week, prima dona.

The Manson family will present this as Salah taking up a noble stance against the Egyptian regime that seized power.

the poor thing, the tens of thousands of pounds a week he gets paid off his club just isn't enough for this poor little soldier so he's making sure he gets every last drop out of things, even at the expense of some of his tiny followers. What a lovely person he must be.

A diver and one who cant take a challenege without crying off injured - now we learn he's acting like a prima donna who sees himself bigger than all his international team mates.

If ever a player's image didn't fit the reality of who he is, this is it.

When you inspire cult like devotion for scoring a few tap ins this is what happens. Italian football fans reserve their adoration for their true legends like Totti and De Rossi. Salah moves to a two bit club who haven’t won anything and is suddenly shot to international stardom on the back of a state sponsored propaganda effort. The circle will complete when he claims himself too big for that lot and is demanding a move to Real Madrid or City, still their fans never learn, a few goals and it’s immediately ‘lad he’s the best forward in the world’.

....bound to happen...which is when they'll give the war of words with the Egyptian FA credibility...and remember the snubs he gave to their own fans....until then: "it didn't happen" is the official line.

Only £180k? Wonder how long it'll be before he's after a new contract,
Given sky reporting sterling on £175k and kdb on £350k
