Just read Anderson's peice on the Echo on Liverpool needing their events to be ok'd.

If you're a resident there you've just been knifed in the front and back by that feller.
 

Palace lost the first seven games last season without even scoring a goal, they still stayed up with utter ease. Their start means nothing.

haha I've heard him talking about them before, pretty funny, i remember him going on about how embarrassing it was they celebrated winning the league before they won it, then Palace came along with a Monty Python boot and squashed it haha

The article even says there was a strong objection to it from residents and councilors alike. It was always going to be a stupid suggestion, unless, as others have mentioned they make it into a non-residential area using their usual methods.

Stupid and rhetorical question but isn't it obvious why arenas are generally always built in non residential and built up areas?
