its not me its you. im trying to save you from looking stupid.

last year "they never played any decent opposition until the final, mbappe and neymar would destroy them", they beat psg and now suddenly there not a good team
Last year "klopps gung ho approach will tire them during the second half of the season", they never tired and played the same way until the end of the season.
last year "any injuries and they will struggle", they finished the last couple of months with 3 first team midfielders and 3 first team attackers.

you cant make predictions and there wrong, you have to hold your hands up.

From the fan group that has said they’re going to win the league every season for 30 years?

You came 4th last season by the skin of your teeth and won nothing. You did get beat by the first European power you met last year. Your season did finish as soon as one of your front three got injured. Can’t see where any of that is wrong?

Because you beat PSG at home in a group game you want some sort of reverence from the entire football world. It will never wash away the events of last May.

They're still either being pitied or laughed at after the Madrid arse kicking. The whole of Europe and beyond saw it and it cant be unseen.

They walked off the pitch in Kiev humiliated. A team so out of their depth it was an embarrassment.

The Kopites KNOW it too.

It was a great win for them, but it doesn't mean much in the scheme of things. Tottenham beat Real Madrid at this stage last season, and PSG are no more of a threat than a lot of other domestically dominant clubs have been in the past, such as Ajax or Porto. I would expect any of the English teams in the competition to overrun a midfield-three comprised of one actual midfielder alongside a centre-back and a winger, so I'm not looking at this as anything like the statement that the media are telling us it is.

I think Liverpool are an excellent team that will comfortably qualify for the Champions League at the end of the season, but I still don't believe that they're even close to City's level. I'm not convinced by their new goalkeeper, the defence is better, yes, but it couldn't possibly have got worse, and they're still picking the likes Henderson and Wijnaldum in midfield most weeks.

Earlier in the summer, I was worried in case Keita and Fabinho came in and had a similar impact to Mane and Salah in their debut seasons, because then they would have been something for City for fear. That doesn't seem to be on the cards, though, so I reckon we're safe for another year at least.

I did try to tell people about this player all last season. No paced and in his own world. That's a Klaassen type signing if ever there was one.

there is something wrong with you.

They'll show their true nature in time.....just like Kinghowie did.....until then just laugh at them

They're all teetering, It's a lottery as to which one will blow first.

RobC has pretty much gone already tbh.
Havrey is always trying hard to suppress his anger.
HongKongToffee perhaps makes his anger the least obvious but he tries too hard, it's clear he's a pit of rage.

Then there's the bit part players who make their fuming cameos.

This should be where they extend their buffer over us but with BMD on the horizon, Uncle Uzzy itching to spend his billions (not on Charlton!), hundreds of millions in debt, a squad that's deceptively old and one proper trophy in 30 years.....it's making them crazy.

It's really rather lovely to watch.

They're missing Can and Coutinho, those two last night and it would have been an easy victory.

They're the difference between the start they had last year and this one. I know they've had 6 wins in a row but they've had luck in pretty much every game.

They'll fade, nothing is surer in my mind.

What's the fuss? They scraped a win at home; objectively you'd have expected them to win, but it was bloody close. In the return fixture we'll watch PSG batter them 3-0. Looking forward to it and the subsequent meltdown.
