If I were a RS I would come out, as you say, I have no need to hide anything. I was merely remarking on someone posting on here whilst our game hadn’t even finished! You must admit that that is a little bit sad, no?
Plenty of RS fans do try to hide who they are but usually, if we don't offer glowing praise of their wonderful team, they end up letting the mask slip.

As to your second point. I remember at the end of full time in the 3-3 Milan final (i.e. before extra-time) having a smoke outside a pub and having a conversation with a RS fan who, rather than celebrate their second half comeback, had to tell me how Chelski were spoiling football and quoting some number about how much they were paying out per hour. It's what football fans do. Always will be.

It's happening again! The thread that should be about laughing at the ridiculous antics of that shower is turning into a discussion about how good vvd is/isn't. Get back on track lads, and you red shower go home to rawk.
Or you could start a thread called “A thread for Everton fans only to laugh at the RS and no discussion about anything else please” if it bothers you that much

Wake me up in March when the rs implode through the weight of their hubris. It will be brilliant to watch this year I believe - a truly vintage implosion to savour. They'll already have the open top double decker bus painted so that Champions 2019 covers over the Champions League 2018. I imagine their fans will have pyro enough to 'welcome' it home.

Have we ever been so far behind them on and off the pitch in the PL era?

They seem to be moving away from us alarmingly quick in both factors.

They are going to be the next English team to break the £500 million turnover barrier, building a new state of the art training ground and look to be expanding their ground to over 60k and just got permission last week from the local council to have non football events in their ground.

Even their CEO is on another level to ours, who was a top honcho at Microsoft who oversaw the first earlier Xbox and the potential of online gaming and his last job before going to the RS he was the boss of Electronic Arts Sports(Fifa,Madden,NBA Live, etc) and was also a earlier pioneer of online console gaming in the early 2000's and we have Baxendale who was at Sport England and Everton In The Community and that's about it.

You can clearly see why not only on the pitch are they light years ahead but off the pitch they are on another level as well.

.

I genuinely lo!led out loud at that. A genuinely baffling post.

True story though.

Social media plays a massive part in football now,all the big clubs use it and in turn that brings bigger revenues commercially as companies see the potential in being associated with a entity with a big social media presence and i can fully see why the RS brought him in with his background.

You cannot grow a turnover when the scope of your club doesn't reach internationally,we fully well have known that for years standing still and watched the sky 6 turnovesr dwarf ours.

Look at our pre season and how shambolic that was, playing some farmers and winning 20 odd -nil while the sky 6 are playing games against Europe's big names in massive stadiums in the USA/Asia/Australia growing fan bases, selling merchandise and in turn gaining fans internationally and growing social media presences.

A mythical stadium we are still waiting for isn't all of a sudden going to make us start winning trophies again like the mid 80's,a new stadium doesn't bring a extra £300 million pounds onto a turnover.

They need to do something to stop that debt growing. Good luck to them, I think they’ll need it.

Slip is being referred to as a gentleman for shaking the hands of all the Villarreal players in midweek. That's all the etiquette it takes to impress the kvlt.
As corroboration, I think this photograph clearly demonstrates to what extent he is a slave to the highest etiquette and a grounded gentleman......in the latter case, unless, of course, when both feet obviously are off the ground.

Moyes is getting absolutely lambasted for saying they won't win the the league. Here, I don't like Moyes but I can't wait for him to be right come the end of the season.
