Least in 13/14 they waited until Christmas to award themselves the top at Christmas trophy. They left it 4 games to anoint themselves champions elect this time.

That was the best goal of the year? Good lord I wonder how much money they got from the ad companies for the kopite orcs clicking on their poll. There’s a blatant foul in that goal on possibly the worst fullback in the league. Football is becoming utter parody. Overhead kick to win a CL quarter final and have the Juventus stadium give you a standing ovation? No. Overhead kick to win a CL final with practically your first touch off the bench? Nah, beaten by a two handed push on the mighty Cuco Martina in a game that ended 1-1 in a campaign that finished 4th. Laughable. They’ll literally take anything these days.

It was decided by an online vote so no real surprise the cult won it. Not even the best goal he scored last year for my money and definitely not the best Premier League goal last season so it really should never have been nominated. But it was the RS so...

He had to win something after the embarrassment of him sitting front and centre last time surrounded by players who actually won stuff that season.
 

My thoughts exactly... I was in a state of shock after hearing he'd won it ha! 38% of the vote as well.

Can only imagine they didn't have a campaign to expose a tweet from a players past when they were kid, the week the voting was held.

I was talking about on the pitch but OFF the pitch as well.

Turnover will have a £300 million gap between us,their recruitment is way better than us and they have their best squad in the PL era,they can attract a better pedigree of player than us because they are a established CL club again,they have far better manager than us who's going to be there for 5 more years.

It's shocking how far apart the clubs are from each other right now.

No wonder then lol,a vote and Liverpool fans always 9 times from 10 having a liverpool connection winning the vote
