1. Agreed, the obsession they have with us is extremely weird. Check out Twitter....honestly never seen anything like it.
2. Exactly, they have finished below us for 8 of the last 9 seasons despite spending an absolute fortune. It messes with their heads. The Kane penalty (last minute for 2-2) was the final straw. Sent them over the edge. Funny though.
3. Totally agree. Kane has 6 goals & hasn't really got started. Alli, Eriksen, Demblele & Vertonghen injured (Vertonghen the most serious at up to 6 weeks out), Son is still knackered from the WC & Asian games.

Pochettino made me laugh today, putting a bit of pressure on the RS & others

"We take our decision to think about football and the club, too, while our contenders only think about football and try and improve the team only to win. That is a massive difference between us and the rest of the contenders. We can win a title but it is not compulsory to win a title, that is the difference. [It is] compulsory to the team that has spent a lot of money but it is not the case for us. With our circumstances, I think we need to party!"
Ha Ha......Arsenal though......you will clearly be bridesmaids again...

Sadly he got nominated, loads of bitter comments from RS fans laughing at kane's nomination. I think the golden boot winner at a world cup being nominated is hardly funny and wrong.

He got 3 goals in a game against Panama. 2 of them penos. And wins the 'Golden boot' for that. Embarrassing.

Everything you say about Klopp is bang on mate.

He truly is stunned when Plan A goes awry. One of the funniest sights in football was when it all unravelled in the CL final and seeing Klopp's face - he just couldn't compute the info his brain was giving him. It was pathetic.

He knackered Dortmund after a few seasons. The CL final season they reached was their peak under him performance wise. I suspect we might have seen that peak at Liverpool reached last season when they also reached the CL final.

Keita and Shaquiri and Fabinho - signed by a manager looking to get to the next level was just friggin' hopeless.

This will unravel VERY quickly for Klopp. I cant see them winning anything this season and I said in the summer on here that I fancy him to be sacked next summer because 4 seasons with nothing at a club with expectations like theirs is unacceptable.

You meet some people in life who are good under pressure. Then you meet others who excel when they are in their "zone". It's like golf, some players can shoot the ball around -8 and be aggressive in attacking every pin, however if the wind gets up, or an aspect of their game is under par they will unravel quickly. Thats really Klopp. He's a very positive, optimistic manager who is great when things go well, but I wouldn't trust him in a crisis, as he won't change direction or gear to solve it.

The other factor in this is Buvac has gone, who was meant to be the brains behind the strategy while club was the front man. Losing someone who you've always worked with is critical, especially if things start going wrong.

I don't think anyone could quibble with my assessment so far. We have seen a fast start, we have now seen a dip. We could easily see the dip becoming a crisis. Both Houllier and Benitez fell from grace spectacularly from a far greater position than what Klopp is in. In both cases it unravelled very quickly. That was the pre-social media age.

Klopp hasn't had to deal with a British press scenting blood yet. I think that this may be the year if they have a bit of a bad run. It's to his credit that he has managed the team such that there have been no crisis points up to now under him ... but they're coming soon ...

Mourinho will be gone soon, so they will need a new target. Sarri is doing very well at Chelsea, while it's hard to say them attacking Emery after such a short period of time. Pep will be off the table to be sacked having won the league with a record points total.

You then have Pochetino and Klopp. The difference is while klopp has spent hundreds of millions over the last 12 months Pcohetino has hardly spent a penny. I'm not sure the press give him another free pass if he is outside the top 3 again. Not even they can do that.
