Oh and that absolute wretch solomon grundy is piping up again on their Everton thread.
Just do one you utter gremlin, anyone who comes on here pretending to be a blue is an oddball but those that use that cover to disseminate revolting lies about our fans can get run over by a bus. How the their mods have tolerated that lie is beyond me. They've effectively endorsed it by not banning the mutant.
It's sad when I see Kopites making accusations of our fans singing about Hillsborough. It's funny that spurious evidence exists, apart from 1 picture, of a bloke doing a John Cena pose and another doing a gesture that could mean a whole multitude of things, in a match it's unclear is whether is even a derby seems to be the best and only exhibit they have.
I had a bloke (a red) a few months back on twitter who referred to their fans as murderers, which I challenged him on immediately and asked him to clarify. I asked him if he would take the opportunity to state he did not mean either the supporters at Heysel or Hillsborough which he did not take the opportunity to do. Loads of other reds jumped in to his defence, as did fans from other clubs (including Chelsea). Clear, unquestionable evidence of using disasters such as Heysel and Hillsborough to score points, and even reproducing extremely damaging stereotypes.
Whats worse though, is Grundy went beyond this. It's one thing to say you have seen evidence of Everton fans singing songs about Hillsborough. Even if this is untrue it's extremely poor form, however his actions went beyond this. He tried to engineer evidence to build a falsification. A falsification I should add that the families don't want, won't benefit from and at no point have ever alluded too.
It's the behaviour of the SYP who started amending evidence to suit an agenda.
In all honesty I'm not sure he really comprehends the stupidity of the action. Of trying to reduce the 30 years of misery those families have lived with to a points scoring expedition on a forum.
Any Evertonian who making comments on Hillsborough can and will be shut down. I have seen 1 bloke, at 1 game start 1 song on his own, and about half a dozen fella's went up to him and told him, forcefully if he ever danes to sing that song again he won't be going to watch Everton anymore. However the same ought to apply to blokes who pretend to be Evertonians, lie about games they were at, and lie about songs that were therefore sung around them while simultaneously bragging about it online.
The people who are dangerous in this are not the occasional idiot who thinks thats acceptable, or the ones who will sing a Munich song, or a song about Heysel. It's the people who snigger along when they know it's not right.
