Any sensible club manager would train the players less in the run up to an international break, when they know they will be training with national squad

He dreams of a world where his players get a load of breaks so that his brand of kick and rush football might actually win something. His line about the coffee machine was funny too. He’s obviously of the opinion the entire football world was going to take note of what he said. Why should they? He’s an utter no mark in the European game.

Wonder if its anything to do with Germany being crap in it? Two of his players injured in Africa qualification, they are competitive games.
 
No club manager likes international football and will do whatever they can to stop players going on international breaks, they mostly don't speak of it. Success for a country means nothing to a club manager, remember Ryan Giggs record for playing friendlies for Wales was appalling now he is the manager how would he feel if Bale did the same to him ?

Go ask Pochetino about the nations league, he has suffered more than anyone else with the amount of players he had in the latter stages of the world cup, injurues so far, and players involved in the nations league (Kane plays every minute possible), the guy just deals with it!

Worst part is they actually did make it up as always. Every year we get the whole Everton fans mocking Hillsborough tragedy brought out without any evidence whatsoever.

The police probably didn't pursue anyone who vandalised the City coach through fears of the Echo calling them out for a witch hunt of Liverpool fans.

Police worried about the number of young emerging hooligans - well if impressionable youths see well publicized incidents - i.e bus trashings with no accountability or punishment dealt out - they will see it as easy game and it will escalate in time.

To be fair he has so far winged about fa cup replays, and they have been reduced since.
He moaned about winter breaks and that will come into play.
His moaning about the nations league has got alot of his players sent home early instead of risking the wrath of klopp winging about his players being over worked.
The problem he has, everytime he has a winge, for some reason people listen and it becomes an issue, so he keeps winging until he gets his way.

Its arrogance to complain about the new nations league and calling it stupid.
Football is not just for a few clubs and a few players.
Go ask the gilbraton players and fans what they think of it after winning there first 2 competitive games.
Go ask the welsh players who have given themselves a better opportunity of qualifying for the next euros and a chance of going into the higher draw at the top table.
Even go ask the english players who have had this boulder on there shoulder of not being able to beat anyone any good in competitive games. They have now done that.
Im sure there are more examples too.

He moaned about VAR when they lost to West Brom in the cup despite it actually making decisions in his favour. It was an unbelievable scenario, Kopites actually blaming VAR for the loss because Klopp had said so despite it saving them from an even heavier defeat. He’ll moan about anything, it’s too windy, the pitch is too dry, it’s too wet, it’s too small, it was Ramos, it was the referee, he’ll never just put his hands up and say they weren’t good enough. The RS will continue to lap up this complete denial of any self responsibility until the trophy drought continues and then they won’t find the whole ‘it wasn’t me’ act amusing any more.

Great post BUT sadly it is just about a few teams now.

Bit of an aside but for those that do SkySuper6 you will know that you always choose the scores for 6 games played at the same time on the same day. This changed for the Carabao Cup when you chose the scores for 3 games on the Tuesday and 3 games on the Wednesday. Yes you've guessed why. So that all of the Sky6 teams were involved.
