ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

The whole ´Everton wives run for your lives´ is classic Kopite humour. The type no one else finds funny but them.
It's at times like this that I understand why some of my friends hate football fans.

Then again, these are the same fans that think holding up a banner with 'Steua Bucharest' on it is funny. And on a similar note, Man United fans can sod right off with their stupid 'feed the Scousers' songs. Like we don't have a poverty problem here.

Im content in the knowledge after watching them today, they aren’t good enough to win anything of consequence.

Have been found out, squeeze the space between midfield and defense and shut down their full backs and you may as well be playing Huddersfield.

Glad we are only 4 months into a new regime.

In good news, it’s the hope that kills you and they are in for some disappointment.

There won’t even be a hilarious failing at the last post this season because they won’t be anywhere near any of the trophies. They’ve regressed from last year and try as they might you just can’t fluke 38 games. The best side always comes out on top and City are better than that shower by a mile. In fact Chelsea Arsenal and even United did far more against us than them. It was odd watching Liverpool just punting long balls down the channels at home because they couldn’t muster anything of note.

They know....

They know they got away with that today. You could see at the end... the way they celebrated as if they’d won a cup final.... we’re supposedly a small club and insignificant to them ...they know they got out of jail today... Klopp been there 4 years.... Silva been here 4 months and let’s be honest ..we should have drawn that and more probably should have won on clear cut chances...the wheel is turning

So in their last 3 home games Fulham have 'scored' with about 25 minutes to go, only for a marginal offside that the linesman couldn't have seen, they then score 10 seconds later. Then Watford have a blatant penalty not given at 0-0, in the second half, and then yesterday. Not to mention City missing that penalty. When you need massive slices of luck/ incompetent officials to win 3 games at home like that you're not a great team. If they were Everton or West Ham, all the journalists would be writing articles saying that the luck would run out soon. However, all these journos predicted a title battle between the rs and City, so until there's 10 points between them that's their line.

The wheel has turned a great deal.

The floodgates will soon open and our drought against them will truly be over.

Not a chance these keep up with City, to go from the style of play they had last year to this is a joke. All they did was pump it to the flanks for the fast wingers to chase. A run of not great results and the fans will turn as he doesn't have the brilliant football thing to keep him afloat. They've been lucky against us, City and Chelsea to name but a few. City have been convincing in every game and have had 2 points stolen off them by bad officiating against Wolves. The mutants were getting restless when we had that spell of pressure in the second half. Long ball FC even have a long throw coach. Its mad that Klopp is looking at Pulis' Stoke for inspiration on play styles, I look forward to him bringing in Ricardo Fuller to get on the end of these lumps into the box.
