ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

This whole it’s a minority is so played out with them, when in fact it’s a minority that are sound and the majority are, well, we all know what they are.

How they are considering them lot to have a parade is a disgrace. It was Liverpool fans that were causing havoc, nobody else. Remember when Rangers fans destroyed Manchester in 08, united won the league and campions league and weren’t allowed to have a parade because of it. Liverpool fans cause havoc in their own city during a global pandemic and they are gonna be allowed to have one. Absolutely mind boggling and disrespectful on so many levels.

I think we need to look at the bigger picture here. This is a societal issue. The scenes last night were disgusting but let's not kid ourselves that this is restricted to Liverpool as a geographical location or the RS.

This Country has an issue with selfish people, who consume vast amounts of alcohol and drugs especially at the weekend and cause absolute havoc right across the Country.

Go to any A&E at the weekend and you will see the same thing. Hordes of inebriated individuals, high on legal and illegal drugs abusing the very people who are trying to help them. A decade of austerity and politicians encouraging selfishness has meant the Police have completely lost control of the streets.

Look at the Met Police looking to engage with people attending illegal street parties. The terrifying thing is that with the double whammy of COVID and Brexit things are likely to get much worse.

As I said the scenes last night were disgusting but sadly they are not isolated. As a nation we need to start getting our priorities right before it is too late.
Liverpool are the victims

They bang on about " Scouse not English" then act like the biggest stereotype of an English football hooligan from the 80s.

In fact, if you look at the generally excellent behaviour of Everton fans abroad you would have to say that their behaviour on Friday was typically English, not scouse

I work as an anaesthetist for the NHS.

So please do not suggest I have a lack of knowledge. As for restricting the carotid artery it may have a low mortality rate amongst highly trained MMA fighters. That relies on two things the hold being applied properly and the carotid sinus sending the correct signal to the brain.

To suggest it should be used by Police on the general public is highly irresponsible.
Do you just lecture people to knock them out before an operation?

If they get up to this nonsense again (if this ill-advised parade goes ahead they almost certainly will) then it would excellent PR for evertonians/ Everton in the Community to be in front of the cameras tidying up after the carnage
