Liverpool 'back on our perch' - Moore

Chief executive Peter Moore believes Champions League winners Liverpool are 'back on their perch' following Sir Alex Ferguson's famous remark.

The arrogance and self entitlement of this lot knows no bounds.
They haven't won their own domestic title for 30 years.
Have hardly won any other domestic cups in recent years either but now self proclaim
'We are back on our perch'.

And they wonder why everyone else hates them...

"We are back on our perch". 30 years since they won the title, but they're back on their perch. Utterly laughable.

If I was Guardiola I'd plaster those comments all over the Man City dressing room walls.

"We are back on our perch, as we famously say". Say again ?? Didnt someone else rather more famously say the original. The RS shouldnt attempt to paraphrase... or should that be parrot-phrase.
 

Could really do with them going out tonight.

As long as they are left in the competition we have literally no chance of winning it, due to our mental blockage and the devils influence.

That;s a taster of what would come if they ever actually won the title after three decades.

I think they believe that their CL premier league club final win over Spurs has catapulted them back to the top.

The media help them frame things that way, but the top is the top, and Liverpool aren't there yet, and with any luck will have to wait a lot longer to be there.

They tried this last year, going out of domestic cups early and focusing on the league
Only changing to the cl when they somehow got through despite losing half their group games and realised city had too much for them
