ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

What is interesting is the medium used. They could have put out a short video message on the club website along the lines of 'stop being c**tz, at least for 5 minutes.'
Instead, a letter to the Echo which i imagine will take pride of place on the front page of the paper today instead of images from Friday night, or any pictures of the arrested.
Its a necessary PR piece to alleviate some of the damage to brand LFC.
Exactly this. It is NOT an apology, it is purely DAMAGE LIMITATION.
It is not the acts that they regret, it's the poor publicity it has brought.

Like I said it’s a token gesture, but putting it in Echo to limit the damage to the club. Most people don’t even read the echo outside of the city. As you said a full statement on their website should have been the very least they should have done.

Social media hasn't changed. Far too many reds calling us horrible and grasses etc

I want to reply , I really do but I know it's not worth it.

How can a fan base attack another given what they did? Why is it always attack us whenever they do something wrong? No matter what it's resort to talking about Everton to deflect attention.

And they wonder why we hate them. The fact that the action of a minority of door knobs has turned into more bile thrown our way after they win the league.
Deflect. Lie. Blame. Deny.
The Kopite way

Notice the the red Daily Liar has skipped over the disgraceful scenes at the
Pier Head.

Christ, I’m not sure I could bear listening to that. Thank Christ I live in Oz now.

I’ll obviously be keen to hear any juicy comments though, clearly.

Inappropriate Language
About to start - phone in on Radio Merseyside concerning the Kopite riots:

Commence operation Hysel Airbrush part Deux - wharrabouttery in full deniel mode from all those decent reds we keep getting told are everywhere. Didn't see many at the pier head did we?

Tired of them all, as the old saying goes, you can't argue with stupid murdering fucktards.

Some good Blues on Radio Merseyside in the past: Billy Butler, Sean Styles and Tony Snell.
Think BIlly got sacked off either Merseyside or Radio City once for saying Anfield had burnt down. Was an April Fools joke but the RS didn’t see the funny side.
