ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

the point of VAR was to fix games, which it did. It dumped City and PSG out of the champions league and it had the title sowed up for Liverpool by October. When you can watch Van Dijk take out Calvert Lewin from behind in the box and it doesn’t even go to VAR it’s clear what the agenda is. It will ensure United make top 4 this season also at the expense of Leicester before the season finishes.

Absolutely spot on.
The decisions United have been getting since the restart confirms that.
As far as VAR goes it's 'Mission Accomplished' for the PL.

This.
Plus the funny thing is he has no filter whenever they lose he loses it, especially with the press, their fans and the press are just going to round up on him one day it's just a matter of time.
If I had the time and inclination , I could go back to a few of my posts from the early days of Klopp to show my desire to see Klopp have an epic meltdown once the press had a go at him. They will one day, it always does. It'll be tremendous!

Perhaps the time is closer than expected after winning the asterisk?

Garth Crooks:

"I also believe that special merit should be given to James Milner and Jordan Henderson. Both have proven to be superb professionals over the years and a credit to the game. It's for this reason I would like to see James Milner win the PFA Player of the Year award and Jordan Henderson Footballer of the Year. "

You really couldn't make this stuff up from the BBC and the media.
<shakes head & goes for breakfast>
I'm calling bs. No way did you listen to Garth Crooks without switching off half way through his 20 minute sentences. lol lol lol

I see the RS Chief of Merseyside Police, Andy Cooke, is saying he couldn’t have done anything differently (Pontius Pilate comes to mind) as he would have needed 5,000 Police to have stopped or dispersed the crowds at the Pier Head And only has 3,700. He was responding to criticism from the Liverpool Mayor and stated that only he is responsible for Police Operations. Well, as he is responsible, can he explain the total lack of Police at this gathering which led to his own officers being attacked later that night.

As a bit of a competition, how many of his 3,700 Hi Viz coppers can you spot in this picture ?.....answers on a postcard....

He could do anything except his job. If that was a blue celebration the riot gear would be out complete with airstrikes and tasers.

I see they’ve apologised to the families for allowing their new sponsors Nike to produce balls for sale with the 96 logo on and the flames next to it.

Further confirmation that the 96 are becoming a brand. It’s disgusting and something many of us could see coming.
That's a disgrace.

They've always seen a buck to be made in that though.

I remember reading when the JFT96 came together they had use of the club's conference room...and they charged the families for tea and biscuits.

When you think about it, 30 year wait and it turned into the biggest anti climax.
No title race, no nail biting, no tension and drama, over by January. A season ruined by VAR, ended by the virus, only to be played out in farcical games for the TV money, following by the fans happy to disgrace themselves. When it was finally won they wernt even playing and no one gets to see a lap of honour at the season end.
It's a total none event

Wow, a week ago!

It only seems like 3 days or so ago that Liverpool fans were trying to burn the city down and infect its population.

Who is this lamppost bloke ?
Lampost Scruff

Soon as Liverpool won the league, he got dressed up in his best manquini, got his biggest Stevie G flag and put on his Jurgen Klopp mask then got his ladders out the shed and clambered up his nearest lampost to the cheers of the great unwashed to celebrate like only a super-dooper-mega-red-customer can. The rest is history and extremley funny lol
