ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Its as blatant a dive as your likely to see.

Funny thing is as well is that no retrospective action can be taken even though it lead to a decision that was wrong as VAR checked it and said "yeah that's sound that, deffo a penalty"
I have to admit that on first viewing I thought it was a definite penalty and it is clumsy from Albrighton but the delay from contact to him going down is embarrassing

This is how I worked out that it wasn't a pen without seeing it

Stadium - The Pit
Minute - 90+
Player - Mane

Using this simple equation the answer will be = penalty

The worst and most despicable football cliche has been trotted out endlessly to justify the decision - "there is contact". Funny, a bloke brushed past me in Tesco this morning and neither of us hit the deck in spite of there being "contact". Broadcasters should be handing out p45s for any pundits who come out with this brain-dead expression.

and there was contact on niasse but he got banned coz it wasn't enough. Im done with football

I love the way that was a rule for about 2 weeks and now just doesn't exist at all.

They had to make an example of someone early doors (playing for an unfashionable club that doesn't wear red, obviously) but have now decided that it's too much like hard work. At the start of 2016-17 they decided to have a clampdown on shirt-pulling on corners before quickly deciding it wasn't worth the aggro.

Only just seen the penalty incident properly. If that's not simulation I don't know what is. VAR doesn't eradicate big club bias then
VAR is there to enhance big club bias. There is an overriding need to protect the product; RS, Mans U & C, Perm any two from Spurs, Arse, Chelsea. The remainder are extras or plucky new bees.
THE PREMIER LEAGUE IS BENT. WAKE UP!

What's technology got to do with it? The pen was given by the ref. VAR verified it. Whether there was VAR or not, LiVARpool were awarded the pen.
VAR is a 2nd rate referee in a box going over a slow motion of an event. In this instance he gave a pen wrongly to the rs. It’s a very flawed system.

Simulation.

This is exactly the kind of scripting that var was brought in to support. If a genuine, honest official really rates that as a pen I'm out of the game. Shameless bias.
I never really thought it would change anything, because when your dealing with things like sending offs, there's always going to be a debate. The reality is football was completely corrupted, when the premier league allowed the foreign market to get involved. That's why clubs like City, Spurs and Everton find it so hard to break into the magic circle. Arsenal were average for years and always got into the top 4, Chelsea were awful and still got there.
United are just so poor that nothing can really be done for them at the moment, but they still get dodgy decisions. The amount of tourists at around's like Anfield is just a joke and in my opinion is does heavily influence decisions. City and Spurs still for the most part have a loyal local fan base and haven't been able to sell their brand round the world. Clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, Juventus have been pretty poor in recent years, yet have had their path smoothed out by numerous dodgy decisions. Frankly football has become boring, that's 3 dodgy incidents in 2 weeks, 2 goals where it's gone through a goalkeepers hand and a penalty in the 95th minute. You couldn't make it up.

It's become scripted to keep the top branded, tv saleable teams at the top, so sky can take in cash from the armchair - just like F1. The fans at the gate are no longer a relevant quantity, they're second fiddle to the gullible cash cows sat in front of their magic lantern , watching a match whichever it is, so long as it's a 'big' sky team that's been razzmatazzed up so they think it will be good to watch.

It's not a sport anymore - and remember there are still people who think wrestling isn't scripted.

Mane is probably the biggest cheat in the prem and he’s never been called for it. Doped up diving cheat.

Look at the expression on his face as he goes to ground, the tackle was not so severe as to merit looking like he'd just been branded with an iron.

Glad someone else like you is keen to highlight the unnatural fitness levels that they seem to enjoy. They start with 11 from the same pool of 13 or 14 players game in, game out. They run around like lunatics and are ready to go again less than three days later. They are able to do this for months at a time and have done so without any significant injuries to key players for more than two years. Other clubs regularly lose players to soft tissue injuries but not the RS. Even when you see them leave the field gingerly they're back the next game.

How do they do it?
