'Showed him'? If someone vastly overpaid me just to make a point about Everton being hopeless I'd nod my head, shake his hand and thank him for his custom!

They just do not grasp the central truth that part of being an Evertonian is accepting the team's failings with suitable gallows humour. Their way is to accept their failings by killing people. Or their successes, come to that - they're Equal Opportunity Thugs, if nothing else.

You can pay me all day long to underline THAT fact, you inbred stains on the face of English football... :coffee:

Are they OK?

Took a look at their version of this thread over on RAWK last night as it’s usually a barrel of laughs, only to find one fella posting a @MarcelsGoat style breakdown of our squad and another fella doing an Esk style breakdown of or finances and why we can’t afford the stadium instead.

Why is it the more successful they get, the more insecure they are as a fan base? :lol:

I'd love to see the breakdown of our finances. Have they got it through their heads yet, that the finances are terrible, because we are owned by 1, and in all likelihood 3 multi-billionaires who will just keep pumping money into the club. It would be as dumb as people claiming because Chelsea owe over 1bn to Abramovich they are screwed. It misses the elephant in the room.

I gave an analysis right at the start of this summer, that they wouldn't sign Werner, never mind Mbappe, and were losing money hand over fist. I can imagine they derided that analysis. look who was proven right, and who was proven wrong, again. They rival the Geordies for the thickest fans on football and not being able to see the plainly obvious.

Everton's finanes are bad, they will continue to be bad, and every so often they will just whack a high sponsorship, or Moshiri will put more money in. Rinse and repeat.

I wondered where the gang of male, stale and pale (and in one case racist) knobheads would rock up next. It should have been very obvious the racist club would find a space for a white man who has gone well past his best. It was never going to be a black person to get to do punditry was it?

Thats it really. Their forum reads like one of these weird, incel 4 chan far right gaming forums. Full of mediocre men who have never achieved anything of note with their lives, but think because they are white, or have jumped on the bandwagon of a certain sports team they've never had a season ticket to watch, that they are somehow superior.

They then make up palpably false interactions they've had. We all know it's rubbish. Most of these skanks don't actually go out. What's he doing getting on a plane in the middle of lockdown etc. They play along though, as it massages their ego's.

It's the same logic that leads people to vote for Donald Trump. They're a weird bunch of losers, and when they desperately try to make out they do normal things, like normal decent people they make such a mess of it it's very obvious they didn't do it and they are not normal or safe.

I'm sure there are lots of decent reds, well I know there are having met them. They would not frequent the "manosphere" that is sites like RAWK though.

That's because they know they aren't real fans. They've never been to Liverpool and couldn't tell you where anfield is. Most couldn't tell you any more detail about the team beyond the starting 11 they see on their blag match stream. They are the LA Lakers of football and their customers need to convince themselves and each other that they're proper fans.

I've been on a flight back from Oslo where it was half rs and half utd fans arguing in English about who was the better team. I've worked with people from London who claim to be Liverpool fans and give loads of abuse but when I've spoken to their mates, they tell me that they supported villa up until recently.

That is why they consistently go to extremes with racism, violence and more recently, arson. No real Scouser would try and set fire to the liver building.

Sadly, these are what make the rs a cesspool of a fan base, not the real supporters.

Taxi driver should have given him 10p back and said in 1985 we won the league and ECWC. What did you do in Europe that year?

At the same time that FSG are making major cutbacks at the Red Sox, tried to use the furlough scheme, and have all but cancelled their stadium expansion, there’s still Liverpool fans and journalists convinced they’re going to buy one of Mbappe, Messi, Griezmann, or Sancho. It’s laughable. They could even scrape the 15 mill needed for Jamal Lewis from Norwich and had to go for a cheaper option. Werner was all but done yet they couldn’t find a fee less than what Wolves have just spent on a teenager.

They didn’t learn their lesson from 09/10. They overstretched as usual chasing trophies buying players for world record fees, spending more in a calendar year than any team in the history of football, and budgeted it all on the most optimistic sunny day scenario. Then an absolute hailstorm hit. Yet their fans are questioning why they’re not getting Mbappe. As long as no one gives them a silly fee for any of their big assets (VVD, and the front three) they’re in an absolute bind as they’re all either sat on massive contracts (or will be demanding to be on one soon) just at the point their resale value is going to decline to nothing.

Ah mate, i regularly visit.

We have lads who get stick for analysing our finances, theres 3-4 on an Everton website, about everton things.

On Rawk, they have 5-6 financial experts, telling us how...

  • We're going to be the next Leeds (we're spending high, betting on us getting CL money, are we?).
  • How we've lost out on James,
  • How the stadium cannot happen (to be fair there are some reasonable posts - followed by more garbage - stating how it'd be good for the City).
  • How we spent our days talking about the Reds (in reality, i visit for the humour of their delusion)
  • How Moshiri and Usmanov are ready to pull the plus and tell us we're screwed
Won the league, Won the European Cup in the last 18-months, yet they're spewing guff at us. Rent Free in their heads, and i think it's hilarious.
