ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I made a similar argument earlier and got a good reply that made me change my thinking, it would make Davies a better player if our game plan involved constant running, after 60 minutes when opposition are out of gas and Tom is still going like it's the 5th minute he'd certainly look alot better.

Yeah it's a good point mate. I wonder if Moyes had us juiced up considering how we could run for 90 mins! lol

Mentioned a lad I know who’s a sports scientist before, and he’s convinced Kante was juiced off his tits when Leicester won the league. He goes on about his stats and running speed and it was off the scale.

That's the one I have always wondered about in isolation, off the charts figures, two injuries with insanely quick recoveries and a lot of players who slipped out the exit door quite quietly afterwards...

Also, one thing that stuck with me is when Claudio Ranieri was sacked, after a dramatic drop off timed with them getting into Europe, they simply couldnt get a manager - Why? It took 4 months to get Claude Peul

Depends if Villa have available 14 fit players ; looks like Southampton are getting a bye.

Suspect the will - Villa far happier to conceed than have another fixture, don't think it's a huge win for them either; I think they would prefer to be out as well

I'm sure, given their position, they'd prefer to concentrate on the league.

Personally I wouldn't as I don't think they'll maintain their position (so cup is their best route to success) and I don't think they will get a better time of the season to play the RS.
