ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

What that will do for Firminho's career I don't know, but what I think will happen is, his Christian name will be totally forgotten now by their homicidal support and Sky tv. He will just be dull, ordinary "Firminho". Not Bobby anymore. :)
I do find it an odd thing for Fiminho to have done - assuming it's legitimate.

Liking a Richie goal for Brazil, absolutely fine. Against another opponent ok. But against your own team the day after the match is weird. We'd be fuming if the roles were reversed.

Rawk is back and their ambitions are exposed

At least we have had a week off and it's not Leicester away after this one now it's Sheffield United...gotta be a very big opportunity to finally get 3 points in the league again, or at the very least not lose.

The Allison thing is bizarre. Keepers have a chat after pretty much every match. Its completely normal.

And the Brazilian lads are mates. Dunno why people get so wound up about it.
they are also young lads, miles from home in what is, lets face it, a strange job where they work half a day a few days a week and earn massive amounts of cash, and whenever they go out socialising, they get grief/adulation in equal measures. They have more in common with each other than they do with us, with mundane jobs and kite flying Jeffs from West Derby.

i know this is a thread about the RS but I’ll see your Colchester away and raise you losing to York City away just before Christmas and then conceding twice to Bristol rovers in last 10 mins iirc on the last away game - to almost City it up.
York away was easy! :D
A saturday game and an easy run up the M62 and the A1.
Wycombe away was the ultimate low point for me. I think it
was a Tuesday or Wednesday night. The rain was absolutely hissing it down.
An 8 hour round trip. We got beat 1-0. I was very close to seeking
counselling after that one!

Great season that was. Whenever Everton weren’t playing or I couldnt get an away ticket I used to go with some City-supporting mates to their away games - Macc, Walsall, Bristol rovers,, Burnley 0-6 win away, York, Bournemouth away were some of the most memorable football trips I’ve had along with Nuremberg, Kharkhiv, Bergen and many dozens of Everton aways.

@PaulPowersTash will no doubt verify but even in the old division 3 City would fill over half the opposition’s ground and in most cases the opposition were grateful for the attendances. I don’t begrudge their old time fans what they have enjoyed recently. In those days City were more farcical than I can ever remember Everton even in our darkest days in the 90s.
We would completely sell out whatever away ticket allocation we were given - every single game.
We still got 30,000 a game at Maine Road in the old division 3. Attendances actually went up from
the season before in the old 2nd Division! We really were a soap opera, comedy club on every single
level. Then the great Joe Royle arrived and saved us from ourselves. Great days.

The same fanbase that backed Firmino en masse over allegations of racist abuse in a derby, are now condemning the same player for liking an Everton players Instagram post after a derby.

The Reds la.
that just shows you all you need to know about them. Racism, yeah thats fine (as long as you are a good player), talk ng to someone form another company after work... should be sacked!!!

I see they are selling off stuff from Melwood. Virtually anything you can think of (toilet door signs the lot).

I went to a wedding at Maine Road after City's last game there.

Some people went souvenir hunting. This included my mum (Everton season ticket holder). She got her car searched on the way out and she had one of the big plastic plans/maps of the ground in the boot. She had nicked it to give to the City fan groom.

Fair play to security but I reckon it would have been different if it wasn't a 50 odd year old woman!

We got to kick a ball about on the pitch and the food was boss.
