ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The Far-Right are dictating precisely because we are not.

Or how do you explain the contents of this video?

It looks like a couple of decent, ordinary supporters caught up in a melee. I feel for them. However if LFC fans behaved as they have done previously (lobbing Asians in fountains, attacking locals like in the Europa league final) unfortunately there will be a reaction, and decent people get caught up in it.

Aside from that, none of that proves that it's none white people who are the problem. The problem has been, for a long time now, the behaviour of hooligans who follow Liverpool football club. That video does not prove the far right correct, nor their racist conspiracies about Koln.

The French government are very clear who the problem was. I'll take their view over the far right to be honest, or Nadine Dorries.

But what if the group of "thugs" all have similar background? By not talking about it, despite clearly noticing it, we leave an opening for the extremists to make hay.

This is, in my view, the main cause of the damaging culture wars we have now. Calling everything "racist" clearly isn't working, as things appear to be worse now than say 10 years ago.

I didn't. Or where do you think I said that?

As a writer yourself you should know the importance of quotation-accuracy.

Which evidence? And why is this relevant to our debate?

Again, you're quoting "far worse" when I didn't say that.

But seeing as you asked the question: rape & murder are generally recognised as being "far worse" than the bricks you mention.

...in your opinion.

And the thugs did have a similar background. White. English. Male. LFC supporters from Brexit island.

So where did rape or murder happen then? Because those links were rebuffed about Koln.
jaysus wept, man! where on earth do you get that idea? No wonder those poor women felt left in the lurch.

I've hyperlinked serious references.

Surprised at you, i thought you were a little more serious.

nothing happened in Koln that was in any way comparable to the behaviour of what LFC hooligans did in Paris. It is a racist smear to say anything else.
my gods...reads like a parody this.

It's my experience that "just wanting to talk about" an issue is a weasel way to open a racist agenda. Not saying you are, mind.....
That's how the extremists get their audience, because yous shut-down any mention at all. Folk who notice certain things then only have one place left to go...yous are creating the 'far-right-gateway' yourselves.

Still not heard any feedback as to the goings on in this video...what is happening here, and what does it mean?

Liverpool's long standing 'urchins' fan group had far right connections with ultras in Europe.

You can see it in their insignia they used on their banners. The far right footy ultras tend to use nazi symbolism like hammers and axes, or deaths head imagery.

They had links with nazi ultra group's like the ones who follow Partizan called the Grobari...

Here's the Grobari at home with 'Sun Wheel' and Deaths Head nazi banners.

The Urchins: great bunch of lads etc etc....
And Lazio

The fascist talk is very very relevant indeed; Liverpool fanbase has always had that fascist element to it. Taking things they want and doing so by force, charging gates, bunking in, robbing petrol stations, you name it.

The only way to deal with that kind of fascista behaviour is to meet it head on with a proportionate forceful response; exactly what the french police did.

End result? No one dies. Just some kopites start crying about it because they didn't get their own way. Such is life.
Reflection of the ideals of their founders. Houlding et al.

Do you put words in italics to try and act all intellectual?

did they? ok, but i dont read newspapers, and watch very little main stream news. i saw footage of gangs of policia chasing gangs of `locals`. im sorry if this upsets people but its what i saw. i didnt see hordes of LFC fans climbing gates to get in the stadium but there was loads of footage of `locals` bunking in. you may not have seen this stuff but its all there. my point is purely this- there are two sides to the story. its quite sad to see the bile spewed here which blinds some Evertonians.
Locals with liverpool kits on , FFS

And Lazio
The left and right ultras have networks of 'sister' organisations.

Throw the 'Urchins' in with Lazio's 'Irriducibili' and Madrid's 'Ultras Sur' etc etc. as opposed to the Antifa ultras like Ultra Sankt Pauli, Brigate Autonome Livornese etc etc.

All daft, but can also be very sinister...especially the far right ultra groups with links to political parties.
