ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Just spotted a lovely photo of Bramley Moore construction from the Merseyside ferry on the Everton fb page.

Some neanderthal tried winding up saying how you can see Anfield in the background and how we'll be forever in its shadow. Someone corrected him that it was actually Goodison so the clown got abusive. I zoomed in and checked and its deffo goodison. I commented as such and said that our firrst discarded ground wasn't in the shot - but he likely wouldn't have realised if he were supporting from London or Oslo.

He got abusive to me too calling me a Welsh tit! I tried replying that in fact I'm an English tit, but by then he'd deleted his post lol lol

I wish fb wouldn't allow deletions when others have commented - just so that if someone arrogantly makes a fool of them selves it stays there forever.

I have no idea about him as I've never watched him. From the reviews of him he's talked up as a player who can play anywhere in attack, and is strong and pacy. For the money quoted it's a huge chance on a player with limited playing time and not involved in a top league.

They usually know what they're doing with forwards like, so I'm wary.

That said, there might be competition for his signature.
He'll no doubt be a lifelong Liverpool supporter.

And there lies the farce that is "FFP".

Everton can not afford to spend £85 million on one player but Utd can even if they are hundreds of millions in debt and a shambles on and off the field.
There is a clear difference Evertons debt is debt , that's when FFP steps in , man United debt is debt and that's why FFP dont bother with man United , I hope this clears everything up.

.....are they really an elite English team? They seem very short of trophies. Arsenal have won almost as many as that in that space of time.

Just as if they were going to improve their total of trophies in the last two decades by another 4 this season. Laughable.

Their media mates need locking up for the quadruple mania they subjected us all to.

With the ability to play on the left wing as well as centrally, Nunez is one of Europe’s most coveted goalscorers, and following his side’s quarter-final first leg defeat, he has certainly caught the eye of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

“Extremely good looking boy, huh?” Klopp joked ahead of the Champions League clash

All makes sense now.
