It is five years since Liverpool signed Mohamed Salah but the 2022-23 season could be his last at Anfield if a new contract is now agreed
How long does it take to sign a contract these talks must have been going on for like 6 months at least and still nothing has happened.
Surely he has to sign the new contract this summer cos I can’t see Liverpool letting it go beyond that and potentially losing him for free next summer
This therefore could potentially force them into a reluctant sale

Mixed views on him going. He’s not going to get any better next season and will leave for free at the end of it. 60 mill is a good price for 30 year old and they could reinvest that in someone else.
That being said you you can’t easily replace 30 goals and a load of assists even with 60 mill so they’d undoubtedly be weaker.
Ideal scenario is he stays but is moody all season and there’s a long protracted exit.
