ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Greedy Barstewards FC vs Glazer's Interest Burdened FC in Thailand.. tickets £115 for the cheapest (or 5 weeks wages for the average Thai). Imagine paying £2K plus to watch a friendly here in the UK

60 times the average Thai football ticket price - or, basically, again, around £2-2.5K for the equivalent cheapest ticket at Old Trafford or The Pit.
there's a much easier way of watching this, you encourage thousands of your mates to go and rush the turnstiles, print off blag tickets or jump gates then whinge like a bish when you get a dose of Dr Pepperspray

Liverpool probably know whatever damage they've done to Salah at this stage. It wouldn't be crazy for them to sell him now and claw in a fee. They're all about commercial deals FSG and that doesn't necessarily mean winning trophies...for a season or two.

Klopp staying on always meant he was going to build another team because of the age of their star players. He probably knows the time is right to start the tearing down now because City have just invested in a striker who'll get them 30 in a season if kept free from injury, and they'll replace Fernadinho with someone like Phillips. FSG and Klopp have probably already pencilled in another barren season in the PL.

FSG are going to keep the business model in place and build up the revenue, complete the Anfield Road end redevelopment to boost the capacity to 61,000 and wait for a mega buyout if they can get another Euro scab league off the ground and secured...or failing that help smash through the current tv collective bargaining structure and launch their own broadcasting arm.

Laughing at the Establshment Club's media claims for their club: including the likes of the Super Cup and World Club Championship in the Klopp trophy haul. They can chalk off the LC and FA Cup wins they had too - they aren't elite trophies.

They've won two major trophies since Klopp arrived 7 years ago.

Lewandowski won a treble and scored 58 goals plus and never won it, following season he scored 54 goals and won the double didn't win it.

The Bundesliga is a farmer's league set up for Bayern to win it, no club is allowed to be richer than them and they have carte blanche to gut any team who's a threat to them, they have 2 difficult games a season (Dortmund) and the rest of the teams are average to utter gash, 11 leagues in a row if they win it next season, is it no wonder the last person to win it from the Bundesliga was almost 50 years ago.

Bundesliga gets $170 million in tv international combined compared to the PL who get £3.4 billion a year from international rights, no one hardly watches the league because its a formality, its a gash league.

Mane is never winning Balon D'or and he's scoring no where near the levels Lewandowski did.
And there, folks, is the complete contradiction of his position. He bemoans people investing in football clubs because it poses a threat to his beloved Reds, but here he doesn't like the fact that nobody is allowed to be richer than Bayern. I reckon the above post is just about the best he's ever posted here because it's an admission that everything else he's ever written is tripe marinated in feculent bilge. He just doesn't realise it yet.

He wants a league where Liverpool smash a poor United and Arsenal every season ad infinitum and no one else is allowed to compete at all. That way they have the illusion of a competition that the Bundesliga doesn’t have but they still end up with the title most seasons like the 70s and the 80s. City and Chelsea doing what they’re doing but better infuriates him as it’s one asterisked title in 30 years and that required one of their best ever managers doping their entire team.

The media claims are funny whenever why’re talking about a major playing going ‘he’s won everything there is to win there’.

The reality is they’ve given 6 years of the prime of their career and got a PL and CL and aren’t favourites for either in the short term. Meanwhile their counterparts at Madrid have 5 CL titles whilst players at City Bayern PSG Juventus Barca and Madrid have multiple titles to their name whilst their star players win the ballon dor.

They can go on about farmer leagues all they want but Mane’s exit has just shown he’d rather win multiple trophies than the imaginary ones Liverpool fans and the media claim for themselves

If the Super Cup and Club World Cup are major trophies then what do we class as merely a 'trophy'? Anyone who tries to make out that these things are any more relevant than a photo of your nephew who lives in New Zealand on your mantlepiece is making a fool of themselves. Same goes for the Community Shield.

The FA Cup and League Cup are still classed as major trophies but we all know that to clubs with delusions of grandeur they are small fry. The fact that they spent years telling City fans that the FA Cup and League Cup were tinpot makes their open-top bus ride on the anniversary of Heysel all the more comical. If I'd have been an Everton fan living in Liverpool, I might have turned up just to point and laugh. There's something quite beautiful about them getting all geared up in full certainty that they'd be parading four trophies only to end up showing off the two they tell people not to care about.

Despite their EC history from the Souness / Dalglish era and nlater appearances in the final, Liverpool are not thought of as a global force in the way that others are. They are what they are: a former major English club that have undergone a renaissance in the last half decade or so, but are not even at that summit. They are the bridesmaid's of Ebgliosh football.

It's that simple when you strip away they media BS.

Sounds like the euro scab, I mean super league to me - I say let the scabs go and we can watch the fans be bored out of their tiny minds after 1 month of meaningless, mind stupefying friendlies.

To do so they must leave their domestic leagues, not even go to the bottom of the pyramid, they just don’t play in their countries league any more and also any European competitions that they qualified for.

See how long it lasts.

Major rugby final at he Stade de France yesterday evening, a capacity crowd and NO problems.
The newspaper "Le Parisien" had a report that I wish could be taken up by the UK media. The headline of the article is:
Sports,Rugby

Final of the Top 14; Rugby isn't football (but) I have never felt insecure in a stadium.
The pre match evolved in the great calmness between the supporters of Castres and Monpellier, who had had no difficulty in getting in (or to)the Stade de France where their teams contested the final of the Top 14 this evening.

The link is:

It compares the pre match scenes yesterday evening with the chaos of the Liverpool/Madrid game a month earlier.

How can the UK media continue to ignore that the problem lies with the hooligan lawless element of the rs supporters.

....I heard it was only the maturity and level-headedness of the Castres and Monpellier fans that another Hillsborough was averted. ?

If you think the Bundesliga is scripted wait until you watch the premier league.
