ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It was dog whistle politics. Shame on him.

He's also got some nerve. £530M spent in the last 5 years, on top of the king's ransom Liverpool spent on their squad before he arrived.

£1.7 billion spent in the last 20 years.

Proper belt-tightening they've had.
Cryarsing about 2 teams in the country being richer than you?
The rest of the teams in the league are meant to compete with rs.
Spent more on a player than the whole of rugby gets in tv money.

As Samuels said in the Mail:

"Klopp is a populist. He tries to position his club this way, too, even if Liverpool have been prime movers behind two of the most unpopular concepts in football history, Project Big Picture and the Super League."

Absolutely nailed it.

Is anybody else loving this cringeworthy, manufactured 'rivalry' between Citeh and the rs?
The media really are pulling out all the stops to make this 'intense hatred' appear to be something that it isn't don't they?
If it is manufactured then it is the RS that are the driving force behind it. We have been in close title battles with our cross-city neighbours but we all despise the RS significantly more. Making themselves that obnoxious and objectionable is some feat.

It’s always that lot involved with these rivalries. Didn’t they have a rivalry with Chelsea when Chelsea were winning the league? It’s like it makes them feel like worth challengers.

BBC: Klopp has escaped a touchline ban for tonight's visit of West Ham

errr, how is this allowed? Manager red cards are different to players I assume?

Is anybody surprised, really he even had the audacity to walk back on the pitch and celebrate with his players after the win over City, he'd been sent off. Nothing even got said he's untouchable.

Been a while now like but it was no secret he was an awful person.

This is a cult like mentality on par with Scientology.
