ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I thought a straight red was a 3 game ban. At the very least a 1 game ban.

Never heard of anyone getting a fine instead .

Is there a precedent for this?
I double checked.

Ancelotti got an £8k fine when he was red carded for us after the Utd game the other year. No ban. Mind you, Ancelotti looked much calmer and more reasonable than Klopp who looked like a rabid dog , foaming at the mouth.

No point in giving managers red cards if there aren't any suspensions to follow though.

Refs at all levels get loads of decisions wrong. At youth/lower levels they get threatened and all sorts. The league should be stamping out that behaviour from the top down and Klopp was extremely aggressive. He only behaves like that as he gets away with it and in the long term it sways refs. Football needs to clamp down and demand the refs shown respect in a similar way to rugby.

Great to see the FA completely undermining and denigrating their own grassroots behaviours campaign by letting shippmann off the hook so lightly with his “punishment”. Absolutely pathetic.

Their tagline is “football deserves better” - it certainly does deserve better than anything the fa and premier league are doing about a number of issues, but in particular behaviours to officials.

Remembering that particular weekend when games were called off in defence of referees.
There is no context taken into an account with that Teutonic tit.

FA handling of any incident regarding Liverpool playbook:

Step 1: put a complete media embargo over anyone even mentioning it

Step 2: do nothing for a few weeks

Step 3: do nothing and just let them carry on usual no matter how heinous the incident

They must have a huge carpet with a massive broom for all the sweeping they do for that lot.
They need a ladder just to get up to the level where they can walk on it.

They've been given carte blanche to do as they please no matter what. Players fouling and diving all over the place, baccy teeth abusing officials at will, fans smashing up coaches, firing rockets at buildings, the shenanigans in paris etc, hacking into city's scouting database, "asthmatic players" etc etc and of course it's all above board nothing to see here.

One of their players gets injured in a 50/50 with Pickford it's years of carry on by them and the media, get a bit of tear gas for ticketless fans trying to get into a ground the compensation lawyers are out in force, a team dares to actually beat them there's some sort of pathetic excuse or cheating against them and rhetoric spun that they can't compete on a shoestring budget against dem oil clubs.
